Accomodation in historic farmhouse was exceptional. Location was perfect with short distance to Montepulciano and Cortona. Staff were great and the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were fantastic! Great pool and bar for relaxing on hot days.

Recreated from farm buildings the resort is a haven of tranquility surrounded by vines, sunflowers ( seasonal) and olive trees. Without exception the owners and staff are friendly and helpful . Marco is great host and dinner was a great with, again, wonderful service , food and wine - they know their “ stuff”. The Chef at the resort has a lot of fully deserved praise - the dinner is excellent and the menu taken seriously - food so good we had 6 night here and only because Sunday is a rest day for the restaurant ! Note - the restaurant draws people just for dinner .We did not even try to go elsewhere. This resort is an excellent base both for Perugia/ Assisi and for Sienna, Florence even Rome situated just off the major road between Sienna and Perugia. We flew the Perugia airport and hired a car - all very easy .The resort gave us a slice of Tuscany to take home without the tourist trappings. Bravo - you do everything so well.

Only 2 small things: 1. More storage space in the bathroom for your things. 2. More outdoor space to use in the evening for after dinner drinks and conversation.

AC isn’t sufficient in Bruno suite in mid July. It was around 78-80 degrees F. They happily accommodated our request for a fan. It helped to move the air… 76-78 degrees F which was sufficient. Limited menu choices for my wife who likes a more vegetarian meal. I thought it was perfect.

It is perfectly positioned in Tuscany. It has a very helpful staff. It is beautiful. The restaurant is lovely. The pool & bar are the cherry upon the gelato!

- It would be perfectly to have some vegetables (e.g. tomatos, cucumber) at the breakfast

- The entire place as well as the rooms are very beautiful, very clean and in perfect condition. - Breakfast is rich and you can get almost everything there. - All staff is kind and helpful. We had to leave very early on our last day and they even prepared breakfast to go for us! - The restaurant in the evening is serving dishes, which are something special! They taste good and looks amazing. This is really a special place. You will love it!

To point at something, the terrace of our room was shared and our neighbor was smoking at all times which was a bit annoying. It will be good to restrict smoking to only outside the premises.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Location close to Cortona. We would definitely stay again when in the area!

Terre dei Cavalieri is a totally renovated farmhouse, with ample rooms, bathrooms, beautiful swimming pool area, very good restaurant. Excellent location to visit Cortona and adjacent areas in Tuscany and Umbria. Everything clean and organized. Restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night, local people like the place and the food.

Marvelous, charming, quaint little inn located in the valley in Fretta under Cortona. Surrounded be sunflower fields, this place is the definition of idyllic. Tuscan farmhouse and buildings that are hundreds of years old that were nicely remodeled but retain that unique Tuscan rustic feel. Staff is nice, (Thomas was particularly helpful) and the property is so well maintained. Nice breakfast every morning but it could easily get a bit repetitive if you are here for awhile. The restaurant is amazing. Two wonderful dinners. If you have never been to Cortona and want to escape to the Tuscan countryside, I highly recommend this property.

Upon arrival, Marcella made every effort to accomodate the needs of two in our party that had difficulty climbing stairs. She was most gracious and helpful. We appreciated her efforts on their behalf.
