We loved staying at the Lithos Rooms. The location is great, so easy to walk into the main town. There is a parking garage right next to the property which makes it so easy to access the property. Our room was great, a combined of the old world charm, but completely renovated. The bathroom was great especially the shower. Our host Giovanna was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Location at the edge of old town. Very easy to walk to all the rock churches and other sights. Staff was very nice. Liked the breakfast. And even getting water bottles on the go when we left place.

Lithos rooms - A fantastic place to spend the night having enjoyed the breathtaking views of Matera - which is a very short walk away! It is clean, comfortable and maintained by friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast too really is highly recommended. Hand prepared for us by Antonella. 😊 …….also: reasonably priced parking adjacent to the property.

The location and access to a parking lot was the main reason we booked this place. But the staff and hospitality made our stay so memorable. Communication before arrival was greatly appreciated, comfortable beds, large bathroom and the hotel smelled so fresh and was so clean. The breakfast was delicious, felt like I was home. Would highly recommend this place. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

The property was perfectly located and easy to find. Plenty of parking directly outside, for you to drop off your luggage. Antonella, the host was so helpful. Directed us to nearby free parking. The room was lovely and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious!! Perfect stay!!

Lovely place to stay. Our hosts were most welcoming. 5 min walk down a fairly steep road to the heart of matera. Parking garage a few doors away. Breakfast was just fantastic. Huge croissants , fresh fruit, cakes, cold meats and cheese. If we came back we would absolutely stay here. Air conditioning was a real help at night.

No parking at property and difficult to find free street parking. However there is a small underground car park about 20m away which cost around 10 euros for 24 hours. We were happy to pay this and would have liked to know in advance.

Handy location and nicely presented with excellent value.
