There is really not anything not to like here.

Excellent and roomy apartment, in a great location of Matera. I should mention that the owner went above and beyond to help us out, so absolutely friendly. Would we stay here again ? Absolutely !!!!

Everything. The location was gorgeous, right on the edge of the Sassi. Apartment was beautifully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. All kinds of extras were provided such as some light breakfast snacks and shower supplies, even including some slippers. Host was very helpful and accommodating as they helped us find parking and allowed us to stay a little longer than was initially planned.

Perfect location to explore Matera on foot. We found free parking place on the street 5min walk from the apartment. Very good communication with the owner. Coffee, tea, local wine, water and pastries available in the apartment.

We only had a little issue finding it, because it was mislocated in booking, but we received assistance immediately through whatsapp.

The room was great at a very nice location. We received assistance with dinner reservations and parking advice. The photos do not do it justice. The ceiling is much higher and there is enough space. Also some simple breakfast. Very clean and nicely decorated. We loved it.

This place is just WOW! Vitor and Antonella are such great hosts. The apartment is lovely (indeed) and very comfortable. Location is perfect. That’s already great but Vitor and Antonella have made everything even more special. They left wine and nice pastries for breakfast. They gave us tips and even made a reservation for us in a nice restaurant. Thank you guys so much for making our stay in Matera so special!

Likely an error in listing apartment as 430 sq ft because we just came from another 430 sq ft apartment which was a lot bigger. No knife in kitchen.

Absolutely nothing.

It was decorated to a really high standard and had everything you would need. The location was perfect for access to the old part of Matera. And less than a 2 minute walk was the best view of Matera. The hosts communicated well and also left us pastries for breakfast which was lovely.

The room was perfect and had all the facilities we needed. Location was great and the host was really helpful, our flight was delayed but he still came to meet us and showed us to the apartment, he also then showed us where to park even finding us a parking spot! Breakfast, lovely local snacks and local wine also left in the fridge for us was a lovely touch! Would definitely return here!!

The location was perfect and the owner went out of his way to help , from giving us a lift directly from the car park to the apartment. We had everything we needed for a few days to explore Matera and the added knowledge from the owner was valued.

Everything. Antonella went out of her way to make for a great stay. Treats, breakfast pastries, helped us find a free carpark and showed us where the supermarket and farmacia were. Beautiful room with everything we needed. And location to the old city was perfect. around the corner and there it was. Thankyou we really enjoyed your accommodation

Everything :-) We were in our honeymoon and everything was decorated sooo lovely for us. Very beautiful interior, great location and absolutely nice and helping owners. We even could come earlier and leave our luggage there. Absolutely recommend it for a stay in Matera. You can park just 5 minutes away.

Truly fantastic place, highly recommended. A true gem. Location is fantastic. 5 minutes from a parking garage in the new town, yet the apartment is located at the old town within walking distance (restaurants and 007 streets within a couple of minutes). Very beautiful design; elegant and chique. Great bed, very comfy. Exceptionally clean. Great bathroom with fine rain shower. All amenities provided (even slippers). Location is quiet. Hosts are very kind and provide you with a warm welcome - and lovely wine, snacks, water and even breakfast. We would for sure come back!

The apartment was sooo beautiful! Every detail has been very well thought out! Location is great, 30secs from a stunning view. Antonella was on hand to provide information and even organised a taxi to the bus station. Delicious treats left out and the homemade wine was a lovely touch! Highly recommend as a base for Matera :)

There is a window above the entrance door from where the daylight comes in. It is not a big issue, but if you need a total blackened-out room for sleeping you might dislike it a bit.

The room was comfortable, the air conditioner very good, and the owners left some pastries and also a bottle of a very good local wine as courtesy for us. Amazing stay!

Cannot fault this place, we had a very comfortable stay, very clean, stylish place, coffee, treats etc laid on for us, we had some home made wine that was superb left for us also, perfect location quiet but on edge of old town, superb!

Everything was perfect: communication, check-in. Great location, close to parking and Sassis. Room has a little very well equipped kitchen and the hosts kindly provided breakfast. Appartment is very nicely renovated and super clean. Don’t hesitate!

Very cosy apartment with everything you need, nicely renovated and super clean, located in right next to the Sassi and close to one of the most iconic views of Matera. The hosts were super friendly, even left us a bottle of great local red wine and dried paprika (local speciality). We will definitely come back!
