The location was perfect , just walk one block and you are in the old town, very clean , good room , could not hear anything , very isolated , good breakfast and excellent service, old fashioned look but very tasty

Second time we have stayed at Villa Lucrezia, it is a perfect location just outside the city walls, is an amazing place with comfy beds, great air conditioning and lovely hosts. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Lucca.

Could do with some more plug sockets!

Location was excellent. Bed was very comfortable and room a good size. AC worked well. Free parking too. We only stayed 1 night but for an eve in Lucca it was a great choice. Would book again

Very convenient location, just outside the old city gate. Took several minutes to walk to the old town centre. Free parking space inside the villa backyard saved the trouble of avoiding the ZTL. 24-hour free drinks and snacks served in the breakfast room is a bonus. Friendly staff. Room is spacious and the bathroom is airy. Hearty breakfast served in the lovely garden under shade on a sunny day made my day!

We stayed here 2 years ago for one night and said if we were ever passing again we would stay longer. Glad we did. A nice location that allows easy access into the city and we would recommend that you walk the walls.

The only tiny complain is that you here very well another guests coming in/out, up and down in the hall...

Cozy accomodation with fantastic location. Comfortable rooms, plentiful and tasty breakfast which can be eaten outside in the garden. Comfy bed. Everything was just soo good.

Location was perfect - literally a minute to Porta Elisa and the entrance to the Centro Storico. Good breakfast. Free on-site parking was a bonus. Good value.

Could not ask for a better location, included parking and a wonderful breakfast which we had outside under the trees. Just right outside the main entrance to the medieval part of town.

The only strange thing was that you select all the items for your breakfast in a room downstairs in the hotel. If you want to eat it in the garden which everyone does when the weather is good, you must bring what you have chosen up two short flights of stairs on a tray, and out to the garden. Then, if you have forgotten something, you must go back downstairs to get it. (But your coffee is served in the garden which is good) . None of this is a major point. The hotel gets 10 out of 10 under every heading, but we, as well as other guests we talked to, found the breakfast arrangements rather curious. It would have been more easy from a guest point of view, in fine weather, to have another table in the garden, with all the breakfast items on it, that are on the table in the basement room in the house.

This is a lovely property. The host was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff we met. The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable. We had a door leading out onto a terrace in the garden where we ate an excellent breakfast. The location is perfect, just outside the walls at the Elisa gate. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety.

Nothing to dislike

It’s location to the centre of Lucca - 10 minute walk therefore a car isn’t required to get into the city. Parking at the property is free. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Good air-con. and good breakfast choices.

Nothing to report on the bad side

Very good location just outside the walls and only approx 1km from the rail station. Very tastefully decorated, clean, breakfast was very nice with coffees made for you and food was available through the day downstairs for after you arrived or for those coming back to their room - a very nice touch

Super lovely family hotel. Dedicated friendly staff, ideally situated just outside the old city (where you are not allowed to enter with your own car (the dreaded ZTL Zone Traffico Limitato) which puts you in the old city of Lucca within 2 minute's walk.
