How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIt was an unforgettable adventure. We have no words to describe the generosity of the hostess and the beauty of the place where we were lucky enough to stay. It's a pity that we spent so little time visiting Lucy. Perfect cleanliness, great attention to detail, beautiful view, modern renovation in the room. It was the warmest welcome in our lives! We also gave us a tour of the house, garden, told about everyday life, gave us breakfast from the garden. We have a lot of travel experience, but we have never seen such hospitality anywhere. Perhaps it was the best experience of all the time spent in Europe. I really want to come back again. Heartfelt thanks to Lucy and her family!

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s Guest House in Tramonti! Lucy is incredibly welcoming, kind, and sweet — she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Her hospitality truly stood out and made our experience even more special. We traveled with two kids and she helped us with everything we needed. The guest house itself is magnificent — clean, spacious, and beautifully situated in the peaceful hills of the Amalfi Coast. It’s the perfect escape from the busy tourist spots, yet still close enough to explore nearby towns like Maiori, Ravello, and Amalfi. We especially loved waking up to the fresh mountain air and enjoying our beautiful breakfast. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing experience with a personal touch. Thank you, Lucy, for everything!

Verified reviewA dream I lack the words to describe the beauty of this accommodation and the people. I stayed one night in this wonderful place, even though I had booked for just under a week, and unfortunately had to check out early for personal reasons. So I only had one day here. But everything was so wonderful. The farm is so picturesque, with beautifully manicured greenery and beautiful flowers everywhere. The room was spotlessly clean and left nothing to be desired. I was greeted with drinks and fresh fruit when I arrived, and breakfast the next morning was so delicious. About the place: It's a quiet little town, deep in the mountains, with wonderful views. There aren't as many tourists in the area as in the cities, so it's not crowded. There are several restaurants nearby that can be reached by car in a few minutes. Places like Minori, Maiori, and Ravello can also be reached in 15-20 minutes. From there, you can easily get to Amalfi, and from there, you can reach other towns by ferry. I also went on a short tour (from Miniri to Ravello), and I have to say the towns are beautiful. The drive to the towns alone is a dream; you have the best views of the landscape. So, if you're traveling by car and want to stay in peace, away from all the tourist hustle and bustle, I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. And I have one more thing to say: I've never experienced such wonderful hospitality as I did from Lucy and her family. I am infinitely grateful for everything 🤍

Verified reviewThis is one beautiful and charming place. The owner Lucia cherishes and spoils her guests. She will tell you history of the house, show you around, offer lemonade from nonnos and nonnas lemons, brings traditional cookies/pastry and you can relax in tranquill beautiful and spotless rooms with view on the mountians. You get fast to Amalfi coast, you find awesome restaurants Lucia has rightfully described as perfetto and enjoy quiet space far from the city. They have awesome garden, safe parking (we were on motorcycles) and everything was simply perfect.
There is absolutely nothing negative we could say about this place.

Verified reviewVery beautiful and historical. The facility itself was amazing with a rich background including a farmhouse and a winery. The staff were beyond nice and helpfull. We enjoyed our stay in the best way possible and had the warmest welcome by the family which run the place.
It was a bit far from the coastline. However the mountain view and the winery itself was worth the way!

Verified reviewLucy's B&B was truly amazing! Tucked away in the mountains of Tramonti, was exactly what we needed after spending 4 days in Rome. Lucy is an exceptional host, she's very attentive and wants to make sure you are having a nice trip and making the most out of the area. She is so wonderful and kind, she treated us like family! The property was beautiful, and much bigger than we expected, making it the perfect little hideaway. We didn't have a car, but the bus was easy to take into Maiori, where there are lots of restaurants and beach clubs. From there, you can go to Amalfi and Positano. I would definitely come back again just to stay here!! Breakfast in the garden every morning was wonderful :) plus there is a cute kitty who will greet you. We had a great time!
I liked everything

Verified reviewLucia and her family gave us the best welcome to Campania! She was so generous with her time and local knowledge. They showed us their glorious family farm and we were lucky enough to taste many of the homegrown produce. The garden in the afternoon and during breakfast was an idyllic peaceful slice of Italian heaven. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
A general note about the area - if you use this spot as a base for vineyard visits, probably best to book your taxis in advance.
