No air conditioning. Given it was August and 38 degrees, the fan was helpful at night but air con would have been better. The steps to and into the apartment are steep so you need to be fit and mobile.

Location is great just off main street so quiet but also right in the heart of Vernazza. Don't be put off by "Backpackers" in the name, it isn't. It's a good side, well appointed studio apartment.

I think a better fan or two - quieter and on a pedestal would be better than the current fan which at times is very noisy and appears old. I didn’t mind not having AC but if no AC then there needs to be a better way of being cool at night. More information before booking about the number steps to get to the apartment.

The bed was softer than my husband and I prefer. The steps up onto the apartment were very steep. Fine for us but might be challenging for some people, so something to keep in mind.

Cute apt with fresh decor. It was very clean. Had everything we needed. Communication about check in and meeting us to take us to the apt was flexible when our train arrived late. Caterina was gracious enough to give us flexibility on our departure time when she didn't have a next booking coming right away. Perfect location to stay, they even provided great recommendations for a terrific breakfast location. Loved Vernazza and this cute apt!

With the windows open it sounded like people outside were in the room with you. At night it would be nice to have a fan for a little air circulation with the windows closed.

It’s in a great location. Very close to the city center but far enough away that it’s a refuge from the crowds. The hosts were amazing and helped us out when a train strike impacted our travel plans.

Nothing to complain about. Keep in mind that there are a lot of stairs, just like it says in the description.

The location is amazing; the bed and the pillows are amazing; Caterina is a great host. Nothing to complain about. We haven't used the kitchen much, but it had what you needed to make your meals.

The host met us at a central location to take us to the apartment. Very friendly. Apartment very clean with all that is needed. Very close to the main street... However it is still very quiet.

In general if you have bad knees/legs Cinque Terre is not a place for you and this house has a steep straircase. Also in general in 5 Terre there are hardly no signs and maps available to lead from place to another, especially in Riomaggiore it took us an hour to find the start of the road and when asked from local people they all pointed to different directions.

Location excellent and also Vernazza as a good spot to start the trails. Really appreciated the warm dryick rack as nowadays many of us travel with light backbags or trolleys and need to wash clothers. Well equipped kitchen for few days visit. Enjoyed the house, the village and the trails :)

Perfect location on a quiet side street in Vernazza. Close to everything in town and the train station. The bed was super comfy - best one of my trip so far. They have made great use of the space, equipping the apartment with everything you could need and then some. Hostest was super nice and even checked in after the first night to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend!

The location is great, very close to the train station. The hosts were also really lovely and responsive. They even mailed an item which we accidentally left behind in the room as soon as we let them know. Really enjoyed our stay!

There was nothing that we did not like about this place. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. We were in Cinque Terra so stairs are the way of life in every town. If you plan things right you can even avoid the main rush of tourist.

We love the town of Vernazza! This property was a perfect place to call home for our stay. It was close to the train and close to the main part of town. (1 to 5 minute walk) The bed was very comfortable, Everything was very clean and it had everything we needed.

Location was perfect, so central , very comfortable, with a nice charm about it . If you are a light sleeper the bells of the church could bother you but I found it added to the charm .

Fan only no air conditioning so was very hot and stuffy. And as the ad mentions the steps are very very steep we are fit and healthy so was ok but if you have health conditions or big luggage you may want to stay somewhere else.

It had a little kitchen which meant we could go to the grocery store and get supplies for breakfast and dinners. Saved us money not eating out every night as food is expensive and average.

The only thing that could be improved would be to have an aircon unit installed. However the large fan worked perfectly for us :)

This property was perfect for a couple and well equipped with the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The pod coffees were lovely too! The owner of the property was kind & helpful.

Steep uneven stairs, wet dish cleaning cloth(?) and absence of sponge, bathroom sink was uncomfortable and did not drain normally
