Reviews of B&B Lumasa

The B&B Lumasa host, Afonsina, was always very nice and always ready to help. Even with a broken arm she made us breakfast and cleaned the room. She was very present during our stay as she was always in the building. Overall our stay in Vietri was very nice because of the accomodation.

Reception was warm and kind. Owner was very helpful. Place was very nice and beautiful area. Air conditioning worked very well. Place was very clean.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. We were only there for one night and Alfonsina was a lovely host! She connected with us prior to our arrival to ensure we could easily find the B&B and answered all of our questions during our stay.

Lovely house with loads of character in the best street. Large room with a huge bathroom and very comfortable beds. Wonderful host lady. She didn't speak much English but was very nice and welcoming. Lovely simple sweet breakfast served by host, very homey feel. Strong WI-FI.

The only issue was parking, but we managed in the end. Assistance with booking a parking place was offered beforehand though, we just couldn't find it.

The property is in a great location and has good facilities. It's quite and confortable.

Breakfast was minimal, sugary and carbs based. You don't get any top up or extra stuff. The Host seems to be making savings on every penny. That is Okay, as long as you don't chase the guests for having aircon working when leaving the room or complain about high energy prices. Although I agree with it in principle, there may be a better way of dealing with such things. And finally, I thought the bed sheets could be changed once during the 4 nights of our stay there. It would have helped as it was very hot, even during the night. Once the place has a high cleanliness rate, the beds should also be part of it.

Feels like you are staying with family. Host is attentive and warm. Location is great once you are there.

If you have a car be aware that you will have to park a few km away. You will have to leave your keys with a parking representative. You will then have to take all your suitcases with you in a small rickshaw to be dropped off at the entrance of the pedestrian zone and walk with your luggage all the up the cobble street to get to the B&B. The B&B also have several steps to go up.

Everything was clean, kind and quickly responding hosts with great organization skills, a safe parking location for the car, beach nearby, beautiful town and surroundings, excellent restaurants nearby. Five stars for the staff running the place.

Overall we had a good stay. One thing that left a stale taste was that the description made us expect an apartment with balcony, private beach access and sweet and savory breakfast. But what we got was one room with a tiny (30 cm) balcony in an apartment with other guest rooms, no private beach access (beach 500 m away but in straight line, in reality, a 20 min walk), and a breakfast that was 100% sugary. After re-reading the description very carefully we found that some of this was mentioned a bit hidden in the text, but still, in my opinion the description should be reformulated to be more clear and explicit and leave less room for misinterpretation. We mainly booked the place because we thought there is an easy access to the beach to watch the sunset and finally weren't able to visit it because in reality it was quite far away.

Parking was difficult

This accommodation was super - so comfortable and clean. We stayed in many accommodations on our trip to Italy, and I would rate this as the best one!

We walked 15min up steep inclines from the ferry to get to the accommodation. The bus was not very reliable. But these are minor issues in light of how lovely our stay was :)

The sofa bed was really of poor quality and made noise anytime we moved. We were not able to sleep :(

The Location is amazing, friendly host. Nice breakfast and the room was very clean and comfortable. Due to the central location parking is very difficult but the host helped.
