The property is a hidden gem in the quiet streets of Lucca. Was perfect from start to finish. The staff is super helpful. Definitely will be our place to stay when visiting Lucca.

The location of Lucus B&B is pleasingly tranquil by historic Lucca standards''' turn left out of the front door and 50 yds to the cross road there's a quaint family Restaurant , OR by turning right out of the front door and a hundred yards away you're right in the thick of it.. shops, bars restaurants and "history"! As for the staff they could not have been more helpful, more charming and with particular reference to Serena, who was at the property to greet us when we arrived, and who instantly remedied a couple of minor 'room' issues . Breakfast is taken down in the garden area which again is surprisingly sedate given the privileged location. ONLY 1 thing I missed was English speaking BBC world TV and Al Jazeera on the telly!

Staff is on duty only until 7 and then key and card were needed to get in building and room

The hotel and location were great. A bit off the beaten path, so spot was quiet but not too far. Room was beautiful and garden was inviting and a nice respite. The staff, I don't remember her name, was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was great

The ability to park outside the building to unload and load. But this is Lucca, so not much to add.

Basic but functional. The reception run by Serena deserves a special mention. She is helpful in the extreme.

We liked everything! But if we are going to comment on something maybe the breakfast could be better. Not much options, but it was still nice breakfast overall.

The staffs are exceptional! They are very nice and welcoming. The room was also very clean. It was quiet, but we could hear people eating breakfast as it room was near the breakfast area, but this wasn’t a problem for us. Overall we had a great stay! We only stayed for one night. We regretted not staying more, as we loved Lucca. Would definitely recommend!

The historic Italian steps 😁 however staff were extremely helpful with bags.

Serena welcomed us at the entrance on a cool and rainy night. As we returned from parking the car we found our bags already placed in our room. So much appreciated this kindness and others. A beautiful property. We recommend it highly.

The lack of staff at reception prior to 3:00 was inconvenient, as we arrived by train early and would have liked to drop off our luggage.

Great location within the city walls. We enjoyed the garden at the back. The room decor was modern and very clean. The washroom and shower were beautiful. Breakfast was very good and it was lovely to eat it overlooking the garden.

Excellent service from reception who are helpful and friendly. They accommodated my late arrival and also arranged the taxi from Pisa airport. The room was comfortable and the premises had a great atrium in which you can have breakfast. Great location in Lucca inside the wall and close to everything, there is god AC in the unit (much needed with the 34 degree heat and humidity!) and breakfast had more than enough choice. Only slight quibble is that reception is not manned continuously 24/7, but its not really much of a problem since they reply to messaging through booking.com in a timely manner (this is how I arranged for my late arrival). Altogether a great experience and I would certainly book again. Highly recommend.
