Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The property was immaculate and very well maintained.
The property was a couple of streets back from the busy night life and centre so was so peaceful and relaxing .

Clean rooms and easy to find from the airport. Street parking opposite the front door. Delightful owner met us despite our flight arriving late at night. Minibar has interesting Italian drinks.

The only real downside was the bed — it was quite narrow and had an unusually springy feel, which made sleeping a bit less restful than we’d hoped. That said, it wouldn’t stop us from coming back. With just a better mattress, this place would be close to perfect.
We had a very pleasant stay in this brand new building, perfectly located in the heart of town. The room was noticeably larger than average and absolutely spotless, making it a very comfortable base for our trip. The balcony was a lovely bonus — equipped with a table, chairs, and even a foldable laundry rack — perfect for relaxing or taking care of some practicalities. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, and the management team was both friendly and proactive, always ready to help. Free street parking in front was another great plus.

Stayed here because it was close to the airport, so great location. The shower was nice and big. Parking available.

I think everything was excellent, but if I had to add something to write, it could have had a slightly more inviting touch to the internal decor but that is my personal preference. I enjoy when a place has an unexplainable “feeling of cozy” which is very difficult to describe. Not something wrong, but just looking for something to add :)
It was so clean. The staff were so nice. Everything felt very kind and welcoming. One of the cleanest looking places in the city! Bed comfy, couch comfy, bathroom so clean, coffee machine excellent, tile floors, so clean that they were shiny, great sink, great shower, great water pressure, soap smelled so good, can go on and on. Oh and breakfast at the local cafe is included! Right next to a very busy square with so many restaurants and a short walk from everything: beach, market, post office, convenience store, church, pharmacy, atm

I can't really complain about anything - maybe more sachets of shower gel but even that was addressed as soon as we asked/texted Ina for more
Beautiful apartments. Breakfast was in small bar 20 yards from front door where staff and food was excellent (we even had an meal there (14 of us) and the staff could not do enough for us - food was excellent and great atmosphere) Highly recommend

The only thing we would suggest to make is to add YouTube or Netflix to the TV program)
Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Cleanliness, service and staff were at a high level. Since we arrived earlier than the check-in time, the hotel staff gladly provided us with a prepared room, for which we are very grateful. They also helped to organize a transfer service for us, which made it easier for us to search, since we do not speak Italian, and by the way, a transfer at a very affordable price. So, I can confidently recommend this hotel to you.

nothing to mention!
Modern apartment a few steps from Terrasini’s town center. The room was clean and set for us upon arrival. The host is super friendly and was flexible in accommodating our check in! Also provided useful recommendation and was always approachable for any question. Parking also easy to find in the area, a permit is provided to park anywhere in the town. The stay also comes with breakfast, provided by a cozy bar in the town’s main square, a very good one I must say.

All good
We are experienced travellers and have been around the world. The brand new location was a pleasant surprise as it has no rating and was much better as advertised. The free parking is right in front of the building and the location is perfect. Walking distance to the main square and city beach, yet quiet. The city has a great vibe and perfect for trips to Riserva dello Zingaro and just few minutes drive to Palermo airport. Breakfast at the local bar. Best coffee ever. We loved it. Spotless clean.

The bathroom section and the bed was next to each other without any doors.
We only stayed there for one night and it was ok. They helped us with the parking and the room was clean.
