The apartment has been completely renovated. New kitchen, new bathroom, new equipment. There are still old pictures on booking. Worth every cent. I can't even say enough about the Val d'orcia. In short, excellent, sometimes breathtaking.

Honestly, my one regret is that we didn’t stay much longer… we could have easily stayed a full week, and three days here would be the absolute minimum I’d suggest. It’s just too nice to leave!

I loved everything about this place, and for once, the photos did not lie - it was just spectacular!! The rooms were spacious and clean and beautifully furnished. There was a kitchenette where we could prepare dinner if we wanted to. The grounds were huge and just gorgeous, and the pool area was much appreciated on the very hot days of July. We enjoyed exploring all of the sitting areas and relaxation spaces, and especially loved eating al fresco together on the stunning terrace (overlooking a beautiful valley and the nearby town) in the evenings. Other areas of Tuscany were a good drivable distance for day trips (then back to the pool!) Clear out your phone memory - you’ll need space for all the photos you’ll take here!

Our shower was very small & we had trouble with the hot water service. It would be nice to have a lounge/bar to meet other guests & a dinner option.

Beautiful location & grounds, very quiet, lovely breakfast. A 30 min. to 1 - 2 hour drive to lovely hilltop towns & historic sights.

Our shower was very small & the hot water kept turning off until we asked for it to be adjusted. It would be nice to have a bar or dinner area so guests could socialise.

The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the slow wi fi.

This is a perfect place. Tucked between the hills of Tuscany, perfect location to Val d’orcia and its beautiful little towns, Siena and its surrounding and even Assisi. The place is magnificent, the pool, the tennis court and all the surrounding. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Dorel, the property caretaker, who was available, helpful and so nice. We would definitely recommend the place and dream of the day we will come back.

There wasn't anyone around in the reception area to ask for guides or recommendations or anything else. It would have been nice for there to be a little more interaction and help. Also, you definitely need a car as there isn't anything close by to walk to and no food or wine available on site except for breakfast which you had to say you wanted two days before.

The property itself is beautiful and the views are great. The pool was lovely to have as they were in a heat wave when we were there and it was nice to be able to come back and cool off in it. Breakfast was an additional charge and was fine. They had several options to choose from.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with external access. We arrived 10 minutes early and were met by the very nice and kind property caretaker who looks after the building and gardens. He did not speak very much English and we did not speak much Italian, but he was able to show us around and to our apartment. Other than that and a WhatsApp message we had no contact with anyone else and saw no one else until we left a week later. We literally had the whole place to ourselves and it was a bit too quiet for us - almost spooky! Our apartment was adequate and had the essentials and was very clean, but it was too small and cramped for us - thank goodness we had a second bedroom for our luggage as the other rooms were very small. Not really right for us and at the level of space and comfort we wanted. I cannot comment on the rooms in the main house as we did not go in beyond the reception area. There used to be no servicing of the apartments and there is a final cleaning and linen change fee that was not clearly apparent at the time of booking with booking.com and made for an awkward check out.

Great location to explore southern Tuscany with nice towns, facilities, a supermarket and restaurants all a short drive away. The property is very charming and historic in a stunning setting with beautiful views. The gardens are immaculate and very beautiful and the whole setting is very peaceful. It would be a lovely place for a wedding or large family or birthday gathering where you booked out the whole place a brought it to life.

It is a little bit out of the way so I would recommend having a car. It was not a problem but you just can't really walk anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay here and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Beautiful large property with swimming pool and gardens. The breakfast was wonderful for a small fee. The hosts were great!
