It didn’t have air conditioning in the room like we thought but the room stayed pretty cool.

The location was excellent plus the room was extremely comfortable with a very big bathroom. The owner of the beautiful home was extremely helpful and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade cakes.

Tea bags were not provided in the room but there was a kettle so you could make hot drink if you had tea bags or coffee.

The accommodation is right in the middle of old town which is lovely. The house therefore is in an old building and the room has been kept in its original style. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big, clean with hot shower. Everything was fine with the room. Breakfast was also lovely. Relatively good selection of food. Nice staff.

Following a long drive, arriving later than we had hoped, nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed; given a thorough introduction to all amenities; and settled in comfortably for the night. Waking well-rested to morning light from a quiet side-street, and beginning to move about in preparation for an early breakfast and the day ahead, we became more aware of our spacious surroundings. Passing as we did from bedroom to sitting / living areas to dining room and meeting our host there, our sense of congenial reception was re-affirmed: an experience of being welcome visitors to the family-home of those used to generosity and thoughtful accommodation.   And then, (with some digital translating help), weaving conversation with an ample breakfast begun with espresso and unique Altamura cake and pastry, we found means to share aspects of family history (along with, yes, intermittent play with a most affectionate and energetic family puppy) . . . And when morning rain delayed our departure, further engagements offered opportunities to refine our Altamura exploration plans; to clarify directions for a later-afternoon departure; and to settle accommodations for the coming night - all most helpful and informative - And here, by way of summary: though brief our overnight stay - appreciative of our "Malandri" visit and its hospitality, of its 'old city' environs and the Altamura story - however personal circumstances and planning might allow - we encourage visitors to prepare to savor the "Malandri", Altamura experience - D & S

There aren't many places I stay where I am so blown away by the room that I take a video and share it with friends and family to boast. The breakfast was lovely but the homemade biscuits were sensational!! Location is perfect to be near enough to explore and far enough away to get a good night sleep.

This is probably the best room I have ever had, ever! It's unbelievably pretty and cozy. You can't get this room at the Ritz for $1000. The town is very cute. Breakfast is good. Hosts are great

A wonderful stay in a perfect location in entral Altamura. Kind staff, beautiful room with terrace. Very clean, good shower, comfortable bed. Very good price.

Staff first night was not friendly. Parking could be a challenge. Rooms were opening on the street, light and noise coming in.
