Super clean and conveniently located studio room. Everything you need for a short stay. Located in modern city, but short distance from historic Sassi neighborhood, so very walkable. Excellent communication with host Raffaella. Italian breakfast is at the coffee bar a block away.

The walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be an issue at night.

The location is excellent — close to everything you'd want. The rooms are also well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Contactless check-in was very convenient.

Breakfast, a cappuccino and a croissant, was very good but off-site so it’d be nice if that was clear when booking. If you’re checking out early then the bar wouldn’t be open. The payment method was unusual, an invoice sent with payment online on an outside platform. It didn’t accept our 2 Italian cards but only our French one so it would have been nice to know this beforehand as well.

Nice location, very close to the old city, and the check in option is great.

The bed was too small for my husband, he is 1,80 and his legs were out of the bed .. he said was uncomfortable for hin…and the pillow are like a stone, i had neck pain next day … but this was just our experience..

The place is amazing, very clean, very cozy, everything was perfect. the location is few min to old town, the accommodation is beautiful and clean and we had a good breakfast only a croissant and a cappuccino and the staff was lovely..I highly recommend this accomodation ..

Not one complaint

Everything was Great!!! The location is excellent, only a short way from the station so very easy to get to after arriving in Matera. Very quiet & I felt completely at home. Amazing coffee around the corner, supplied also with breakfast vouchers, I’m not a breakfast person, but the coffee was really good, also supplied in the accomodation as well so your coffee needs are covered. Around the corner also is a laundromat if you need. I loved how close it was to the Centro Storico which meant I could come & go easily for a siesta after covering the many little alleyways there are to explore. The communication was perfect & nothing was a problem, they are so lovely! As I was leaving on a Sunday I just couldn’t face getting a bus as the train wasn’t running, so I was offered a shuttle service back to Bari which I very gladly took up. Obviously it is a lot more expensive, however, unless you’re driving, Matera is tricky to get to & the convenience of the shuttle far outweighed the cost! Would 100% stay here again & I hope to one day again with my husband.

Check in, I booked with them as it said that it was 350 metres from the station I was just staying 1 night in Matera I travel alone and being older you do not want to be searching for your accomdation. It is not 350 metres it is very much further than that also very difficult to find I had to take a taxi and the driver also struggled to find it. On arrival I found a locked door, and searched for the lock box I did not know that they were inside, as there was no way of knowing. Other guests arrived they also did not know. A resident of the building arrived and kindly let us enter, I then had a nightmare time trying to get someone to give me the code for the lock box, they kept saying that they had to have documents before they would give the code. I am 68 exhausted from searching for this place and they won't let me into my room, older people are not that tech savy. When a girl did turn up she was rude and blamed me for being earlier than i said i would. The kitchen is very poor no kettle just a small induction hob with no instructions on how to use it.
