The only downside is that the rooms are not soundproofed, so you may be bothered by noisy neighbours. However, the quality of the room and the service outweighs this issue.

The room is huge and modern - we were very comfortable. It is centrally located and is close to many restaurants, shops, and markets. A very pleasant stay overall.

Staff was very nice. I got a message with all the info and it was possible to meet up with someone to ask more questions and I got a map of the city and good tips. I felt welcomed :) the location was in the middle of everything- very well located in the heart of the Palermo vibes/life/ restaurants/shops in the center. It was super easy to get inside with a code so no need to worry about keys or anything else. Very easy. The place was clean, smelt good and cleaning staff was so friendly. Room was bright, big and it felt good to be in resting or writing on my computer. AC was there, which was a huge plus, as it can be very hot in Palermo. Renovated it was comfortable to use (the room).

Unfortunately there was no electric kettle as advertised. Im English - I need my tea! A kettle was provided the next day. Due to new EU rules regarding physical ID, it was a 15 minute walk from the hotel (where the ID was carried out) to the room. Not an issue for me but would have been for my friend who at the last minute had to cancel.

very efficient system of checking altho' some minutes walk away from the actual apartment. excellent facilities within. would be very happy to stay a deal longer but it was a very comfortable overnight. Love the location. Everything to hand.

Reception is in Hotel Garibaldi not on the location, same for breakfast, so you have to walk there. There is option to have breakfast brought in the room but less choices. Breakfast in the hotel could have more vegetables and bread varieties and less sweet stuff.

A kettle was missing - in the description written. As we traveled with a little baby that was a problem. Thicker blankets for winter would have been great.

Small old elevator. I had trouble finding the place. I miss a concierge to answer simple questions about restaurants, attractions, getting around. But I understand not having that keeps the costs low.

The cleaner was excellent. Location was superb.

The hotel was renovated and everything was brand new. The bed was so comfortable and the room was fully sound proof, which might not be the case for most hotels in Catania. Excellent value for the price. I highly recommend and will be going back again!
