Accommodation within walking distance of metro station Valle Aurelia (730 meters).

I was missing the electrical socket next to my bed - the lamp on the bedside table was only for decoration. It's only the electrical socket for TV over the bed and too high your mobile phone charger. The fridge door wouldn't open.

    Nothing.

They tried to get my credit card data via Whatsapp. I did not feel safe and complained about it. Also, they wanted to charge 41 extra euros for checking in at 8pm instead of 6pm. Because I complained, they decided not to do check in at 8pm and could not stay in the hotel. I had to pay for a new one. Worst experience I’ve ever had in all these years travelling.

    Property response:

hello you made no show! you didn't arrive during check in time. i don't understand why you booked knowing that you'll arrive late!

The staff was helpful from the day we booked, replied in time always, location was perfect and the appartment was exceptional

The only think I did not like is the way to reach the property from metro especially with luggages, other than that it is easy to travel to center by bus

The proximity to the Vatican is the only good thing in this place.

The people in the reception don't speak English. It's a place for backpackers because it's not really beautiful, but cheap. If you like good place with confort and modern instalation don't go there

Location, clean... Shower could be updated.

The check in time was ridiculous and I only noticed after I booked. They wouldn't cancel the booking 1hr later

    Nothing!!!

The staff’s jokes were inappropriate. The room was very old and untidy. The beds were broken. Dirty towels were hanging over the shower cabin. The towels that were supposed to be “clean” and placed on the bed were extremely smelly and damp. Late at night, someone rang the intercom aggressively for nearly an hour. The worst part was that we were told we could safely leave our car parked in front of the building. When we returned from the city, the car window was smashed, the vehicle had been broken into, and all our valuable belongings, luggage, and gifts were stolen. At the time when we saw what happend one of the stuff members came out of the building but didn’t offer much help. When we contacted the owner to explain what had happened and asked if anyone had seen anything or if there were any cameras around the building and parking lot, we only received words of sympathy and were told that cameras were not allowed. We were also questioned as to why we hadn’t left our luggage with them — even though the day before, when we informed them of our checkout time and that we weren’t heading home immediately, no one offered to store our luggage. All in all, a terrible experience with absolutely no help provided.

The location is great. Free parking is available.

The place is dated: showers are almost broken, it's very noisy, cause it's a main street, but the windows don't isolate anything. Out of some 70 bookings I've had through the years, this is the ONLY place that charges for late REMOTE check-in. Like, I would have understood, if they had to come and meet you, but they are charging you 20 to 35 euro, literally for once pressing the button to remote-open the gate, that's it.
