While our rooms are designed to reduce noise as much as possible, the hotel is housed in a historic Venetian building where full soundproofing is not always achievable. We would like to clarify that, for safety reasons, the socket near the mirror in the bathroom only works when the switch is turned on. Had it been activated, the hairdryer would have worked perfectly. Regarding the mattress and pillow, we're sorry they were not to your liking. Our mattresses are new and carefully selected to provide ergonomic support suitable for most guests. Of course, comfort is a subjective matter, but we want to assure you that the materials are neither worn nor of poor quality. If there were truly “many dead mosquitoes on the wall” or “very old bed covers,” the minimum courtesy would have been to inform our 24-hour reception, which is always available to intervene. Instead, no complaint was made during your stay, and now you leave a low rating after the fact — without giving us any chance to verify or address your claims.
