Location - very picturesque

The only thing that we would “upgrade” Is breakfast. It was still delicious but we stayed 6 nights and having same breakfast menu all the time. Would suggest to include more fruit, variations of yogurt and a couple of different choices of milk.

We really like the location and really friendly stuff who are trying to feel you really comfortable. Very recommended for families as place is clean and has a great pool area and surrounding.

The restaurant lacked ambience as hardly anyone ate there, despite the food being of a high standard.

Lovely Masseria with great views of the countryside. We had a large refurbished room with a beautiful little garden. Good value for money and ideally situated to visit Matera.

Fabulous boutique hotel. We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. We had a rest day and had a lovely day by the pool. The dinner we had was superb. I highly recommend a stay here.

I loved the option of staying outside of Matera, but being able to look at it from a hilltop! Fantastic option if you have a car. Really nice property, gorgeous surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The personalised service and warmth we got from the family run Masseria. The lie on the hills. The views kilometers far amongst the endless fields of Durum. The quality of the food and wines served.

Nothing to be negative about, perhaps a slightly more comfortable chair in the room..but..there were plenty of comfortable sofas in all the public spaces.

Loved the tranquility. A beautifully styled Masseria. The staff were all so attentive and kind. The location was very good with access to nearby places of interest. The breakfasts were so good with plenty of choice and home made produce. Lots of books ..per tutto, great. Grazie a tutti and I hope the arrival of your baby will be safe and swift but, not too soon! Beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The staff were fabulous, very attentive. We ate there the first night and that was great. Easy parking no fees. It was easy to get to Matera Sassi from there only 10 mins drive. We did find getting there tricky as google maps didn’t pick the address up so we used maps instead via booking.com. Would’ve liked to have stayed longer and used their facilities but didn’t have time

The bed was too small

the breakfast was good, although the staff asked us to wait a little while as they were not ready when we arrived at 7.27am. The location was good. The bed was too small.

It’s worth noting that the hotel, being a farmhouse, isn’t that close to Matera and you will require a car.

We visited Matera as part of a road trip along Amalfi and around Puglia. This was one of my favourite hotels and one night wasn’t long enough! The rooms are very well done, the setting is stunning, the pool is lovely, and breakfast was great. A very very peaceful and rustic luxury-feeling stay that offered great value for money!
