The Masseria is a perfect choice. The location offers you a wonderful Walk distance Beach (Baia Dei Turchi, which is one of the nicest in the region). If you wish to explore other Beaches in Salento, it is also very easy to drive for it without trouble. The Food menus in the night was a Nice surprise, offering a gastronomic immersion on the region tastes. Really recommended. But it you choose, adaptations can also be done to fit all tastes. Finally, i want to share a few words about Valentina. She helped us on all needs we had, and was always open to talk and explain about our curiosities on the region. It was nice to feel we had a friend to learn from in the staff.

The room could have been more comfortable with some better self catering facilities. Our shower was too small.

The property was very well managed, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It felt very relaxed and calm. The food was of a very high standard and well priced. It was a very short walk to the beach and well positioned for sightseeing by car.

Good energy from the staff, very nice location, excellent food. Hospitality above and beyond: welcome gift of wine and local ceramics; free dinner on the night of the arrival; free use of spa for an hour. A very nice beach just steps away. Free bikes to use at your leasure. An absolute gem of a place.

The property is very close to the beach, 5 min walk, and the beach is magic. In case you don't want to walk, there is a beautiful very clean pool. Excellent breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. The restaurant offers extraordinary gourmet dinner. This is the right place for a week sea vacation! Next time we definitely do it.

The staff were fantastic, they really wanted us to have the best time and went out of their way to look after us. Food was amazing. Room and pool were lovely. So close to the most beautiful beach. Just loved it all!

Hospitality, service, staff are superb! Location is excellent in walking distance from the beach. They provide beach towels and umbrella if you ask, so you don’t have to pay for it. Big pool and nice well tended garden. Rooms are simple but have everything you need. Bottle of vine is complimentary as well as the first dinner in Masseria. Spa is reserved for one hour for the room , it has a great steam room and strong hydro massage pool. We booked it twice and enjoyed it very much!

Room (Alloro suite) persistently smelled damp despite the air exchanger. Bathroom felt rather cramped with fairly tiny shower. A few aspects of the room needed a bit of maintenance - the bin in the kitchen area was broken and the cupboard door scraped on the floor. The bedroom layout was a bit cramped with the location of the wardrobe and four poster bed. Safe too small for an iPad or even my travel wallet.

Good location close to the beach and only 5km from Otranto. We appreciated the free bikes to use to ride into town. Beautiful pool which never felt crowded. The one dinner we ate in the hotel was very good and we enjoyed all 4 courses. The only reason we didn’t eat there more was because Otranto is so beautiful at night! Lovely shaded seating areas by the room both front and back. Big sitting room and decent sized fridge. Good coffee at breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly and organised early breakfast for us at 6.30 on our last day as we needed to head off to the airport before normal breakfast hours. Feels family run and personal.

Beautiful room on a peaceful and quiet property. 10' walk to Bahia dei Turchi beach, very short drive to the beautiful town of Otranto. We also enjoyed the complimentary 1 hour in the spa/sauna.

With the grounds being so beautiful we would have appreciated some different areas to sit and enjoy. The restaurant area itself could be improved upon as it is missing some charm and atmosphere.

The location of this property is the best thing about it - 5 minute stroll through a forest area to a lovely secluded beach with beautiful clear water, and a short drive to Otranto. The property also provides bikes for free which is a great way to reach Otranto in 20 mins. The pool area is also amazing - quiet and surrounded by nature. Staff are all very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was varied with local produce. We were lucky enough to receive a welcome dinner at the hotel (a lovely touch), a traditional Italian meal, 4 courses with a variety of fish available, which we rated highly. The appartment itself was immaculate with everything you need for your stay.

I was travelling with my 80 year old aunt and the 300m to beach was not accurate. It was 300m to see the sea but then you needed to be a mountain goat to access the sea!!

The staff, facilities, pool and dining experiences were fabulous. The facials we had by L'Essenza in the spa area were exquisite!! Will definitely return.

The only slight downside is that the room is on the smaller side, but we didn’t mind at all.

The services at Masseria Mongio dell’Elefante were exceptional. The entire team was very attentive and extremely helpful for the duration of our stay. We we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary and could not ask for a better stay. The pool and spa are very well looked after and the beach is a short walk away.

We liked it all.

The location of the property is perfect as the most beautiful beach is an easy 5 minute walk and 10 minute drive to Otranto town which was really great. The design of the masseria is beautiful and modern while in keeping with the spirit of a farm and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast assortment was delicious and we liked that you could order eggs to your preference. The staff were so friendly and special call out to Maria and Francesca for all their help with restaurant suggestions and reservations. The pool is enormous and so inviting.
