We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomVery friendly, cheery and attentive staff. Had a personal feel, as it is quite small with a small number of staff. Staff member we met speaks good English. Well located, with easy (free) on-site parking outside of Vercelli’s low emissions zone, and an easy walk into the town centre (where we had an excellent meal). Spotlessly clean everywhere (in the room and common areas) and a comfortable room. It is perhaps a little ‘old-fashioned’ in style / decor, but not at all ‘tired’. The owners clearly make efforts to maintain the property and make it well kept. Nice breakfast. A reasonable choice of sweet and a savoury foods, with fresh fruit and pastries. Good value for money.

SerbiaNext time we will not accept staying in a room with 2 single beds... The matresses are extremwly uncomfortable and if you move in the bed, the matress also moves and slips away... Quite hard to sleep... Probablu the situation would be better if we had a room with double bed.
Lovely friendly and welcoming staff... Hotwl room is perfectly clean, heating also working well... Spacious room, quite comforrable.

AustraliaApparently the owner did not have any record of us having paid through booking.com but this was soon sorted out. He had obviously had a bad experience of a previous client leaving early and skipping paying which made him a little aggressive.
Good breakfast delivered to room. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Very accommodating with storing our bikes overnight. Let us know where we should explore and dine.

United KingdomThe air conditioning was ineffective, in saying the ouside temperature was higher than normal for the time of the year.
We were greeted by the owner, Sabrina, who was very friendly and welcoming. We were travelling home, heading north, and it was a very convenient place to stay. The breakfast was good, and it set us up nicely for our onward journey
