Location was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A bigger balcony

The property was located in midst of center center so it was super easy to reach all of the top spots. The staff was very helpful, room was perfect, AC was super great and breakfast was excellent. Such great history of the hotel mixed with luxury!

The location was absolutely perfect and the hotel was beautiful. We didn't eat at the hotel but the cappucinos were fantastic.

The beds weren't super comfy, but it wouldn't deter me from staying here again.

The AC didn’t really work, the air wasn’t blowing out cold at all. Room was very warm.

Excellent location very close to town ferry pick up point, friendly staff, rooms clean and comfortable, lovely spread of breakfast so many options even for vegetarians, great sound proof doors as in very central location heard no noise from outside. Quite pricey but expected in August peak season

Bit dated furnishings but very well kept/maintained. Light in hallways were on a sensor but didnt always turn on so needed to use phone light.

A very old hotel steeped in history. Lovely atmosphere and very well located right in the centre. The staff were attentive particularly the table waiting staff. Breakfast was the usual buffet but the coffee was made by the staff not self-service out of a machine.

Maybe a little noisy at night but that didn't last long and wasn't really a problem.

Loved the location The place was spotless,very fresh and air conditioning perfect,staff very friendly and helpful,They do a free taxi service which is brilliant for going to train with luggage,Just the perfect place to stay snd a wonderful place to spend a holiday.Breakfast beautiful with gluten free options also.The fridge in the room was perfect also.Excellent

The hotel has a good location in the center of the city. The breakfast is good and the restaurant staff are nice, especially Ms. Alla, who provides excellent service. The rooms are clean, but the furniture is old. The check-in procedures are fast. Parking is 500 meters away and costs 18 euros per day. There is a parking lot near the hotel, but it is not always available.

The staff were so helpful, arranging drivers, last minute massages, laundry services. The housekeeper was brilliant. We are right in the centre, fabulous stay.

The breakfast sausages were poor quality

The hotel is cozy, with an interesting family history, friendly staff, a beautiful view of the lake and the city, excellent breakfast and a great location in the center.

The property sits in the best possible location in Desenzano. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I noticed some previous reviews comment that the hotel is in need of renovation but I have to disagree. The decor adds to the romance of the hotel which is steeped in history. Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and the stunning Desenzano resort.

I can’t honest say there was anything.
