Location was great - 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum or 5 minutes in either direction to A or B Metro lines. Room was large and kept clean. Nice to arrive to a bottle of wine and some tea and coffee in the room. Kettle in the room or you could use the one in the kitchen/breakfast room. Breakfast was fruit, pastries and yoghurt. Owners were lovely and gave some excellent recommendations.

For us the bed was a little hard but that is a personal preference and nothing against the property.

Clean and really quiet place to stay. Nothing literally was bothering me. As a solo traveler I couldn't feel more safe and relaxed 😌

I have got very reasonable ticket for my breakfast ( 12 euro which is a good value ) however I didn't like the place where my meal was served. Anyway u can stay without breakfast included. I think its a better option.

Fabulously located close to the Colosseum, University and train station. Nice welcome, good room and huge continental breakfast selection.

The location was perfect. Close to everything by foot with two metro stations nearby. The host was lovely and recommended some great restaurants (cheaper AND tastier than the ones we found on our own). The bed was REALLY comfy. Breakfast was good. It felt personal and Pietro was very nice and warm.

Two of the towels we were given were not clean at all. One had a huge black spot of filth, and the other had yellow spots all over. We were not refilled with toilet paper, and when we raised the issue (politely and at a reasonable hour), we got an apology but no action was taken.

It’s clean and feels like home ! Everything is perfect ! Staff are super nice and helpful!

This property is perfect, clean, great location and the friendliest staff.

Rooms and common area were excellent. Rooms are on 3rd floor from main street. You enter building with keys and take cool elevators up. Breakfast was very Italian. Staff were awesome. All was as advertised. Location was btwn Termini stn and Colosseum. Fantastic!!! Lots of great restaurants, bars, cafés.

The apartment was perfectly located for walking access to the Colosseum and great eateries. It was clean and comfortable and Sara our breakfast host was so lovely and friendly. The coffee and pastries with fruit and yoghurt for breakfast were a perfect start to the day.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Helped arrange restaurants and transport for us. So good to have breakfast provided, a real bonus. Fantastic location. Central, tree-lined street, away from the main hotels, with handy cafe/bar and a convenience store, just steps away.

The property was perfect for our stay, we were able to safely leave all our items in the room, and was still roomy enough to relax after a day walking around rome. The owner was very helpful and the staff were polite as well. They also fixed the air conditioner for us while we were there. The location is amazing too, 10 mins away from the colosseum!

I was a bit surprised when it was a shared space, but the other people staying in other rooms were lovely. Also the fridge was a little small for our perishables, and the shower was a bit tight and slippery.

Everything was great! The staff was very nice and the place is very well located.

For the breakfast I would have liked to have savoury options too, but everything else was perfect.

I absolutely ADORED this place. The staff made our stay extremly special, shared with us so many insights that made it memorable and were overall the nicest people to chat with and get to know. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE, the location is SUPERB, super clean, easy to access and close to literally everything you need to see. It’s very close to metro stations (direct line to Vatican too), tram, bus and train station. It’s the perfect place to stay, no matter the length of your trip. We truly can’t wait to go back to see the staff and beautiful Rome again!

The room was exactly what we expected from the description. The staff were lovely and helpful. The shower was amazing. We walked everywhere - everywhere from Vatican to Travestere to Collosium. Everything you would want to see in Rome is max a 40 min walk away, if not closer. Lots of lime bikes to rent nearby too.

Everything fantastic!!!! Location, cleanness, very kind, friendly and helpful hosts. Room was very nice and comfortable, breakfast delicious (good coffee and fresh warm croissants), I’m 100% recommending!!!

Great host, clean room, 10 minute walk from metro station, nice staff at breakfast, comfy bed. Host shared his away from tourist area restaurants and we tried two of them and were not disappointed.

Small things. Have a pen in the room (idea for drawing on the map that was in the room). Breakfast was all sweet. Be nice to have a plain croissant or some toast. Otherwise nice clean bright room.

The location of Merulana Suites was absolutely spot on – just a short walk from Roma Termini and literally within walking distance of the Colosseum and other major landmarks. It made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable! What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the host. Super friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Not only did they offer valuable advice about local restaurants and points of interest, but they really made us feel like we were staying with a friend rather than just at a hotel. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, convenient, and comfortable stay in Rome!

A little loud in the morning as breakfast is next to the room between 8-10 but didn't ruin the experience at all
