We liked everything about this hotel. It's absolutely beautiful. The location is excellent and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Danilo in particular was excellent. He checked us in and from then he was hugely helpful with restaurant bookings and information on beautiful Taormina. The room we had was large and very comfortable. The swimming pool area was a little haven.

Everything. The location is fantastic, the view is fantastic, the pool area is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful. We stayed in 2 rooms, one with a balcony and one with the spa on the balcony, both were great.

Superb location, great facilities, amazing views and outlook from the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and bar and pool were great. All the staff were incredibly attentive, Amber and Lucia were amazingly helpful during our weeks stay and Maria’s historic and ice-cream tours of Taormina were brilliant.

My room was faced to Corso Umberto and we could hear the noise from the street. If you have a room faced to the sea you will not have this problem. Our suggestion is to install a soundproof window for rooms which are back to the street

The Best Hotel Experience We’ve Ever Had! Hotel Metropole Taormina is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We originally planned to stay for just two nights but ended up extending to four because we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff here genuinely go above and beyond nothing is ever too much trouble, and they make you feel so special every single day. The location is unbeatable. You’re less than a five-minute walk from absolutely everything in Taormina, yet the hotel feels like its own peaceful oasis. The pool area is incredible, offering breathtaking views that you’ll never forget. Breakfast each morning was a highlight not only was the food beautiful and fresh, but the service was exceptional. The gentleman at the breakfast buffet (we didn’t catch his name) amazed us by remembering our drink order every single morning and greeting us with the warmest smile. A special mention to Maria and Ambra, who were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a luxury stay where you’ll be cared for in every possible way, Hotel Metropole is it. We will be dreaming about this place until we can return!

Nothing - everything was great

Property location is breathtaking and the staff go above and beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, Danilo met us with warmth, he made our arrival so memorable and continued to help us navigate Taormina throughout our stay with advice for the beaches, restaurants and transfers. He was so helpful and made phone calls for us to make reservations in Italian. He couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and staff were attentive and friendly. The pool is a stunning space to relax and just absorb the stunning views. Hotel Metropole is incredible and no photo we saw before our arrival did it justice.

Such a special person that welcome you with a great smile and a true desire to make your experience just perfect and go beyond conventional to make you happy. The breakfast service is very slow and the staff seem a little flustered. May I suggest having someone for seating guests and taking their order and then others to run the orders to the table

The breakfast for a 5 star hotel was poor, there wasn’t much to choose from and most of it you had to pay extra for. The breakfast service was very chaotic and we waited 40 mins and had to ask 3 times just to get a cup of tea!

Loved the location and the outside seating area, had such a great view, the staff were so attentive and welcoming and the room and balcony made for an extremely pleasant stay.

This is a great location and a luxurious hotel, we really loved everything from the minute we stepped in. The staff at the reception were very friendly and pleasant, in particular Marie Angelique who went beyond the call of duty to help us with our flight booking when ITA cancelled our flight due to the strike. She managed to get us upgraded to a suite, which has a superb view from the balcony. Super clean and comfortable place.

Best of the best. People are overpaying for the Four Seasons (White Lotus) compared to this place. The staff at four seasons, were nowhere as accommodating as the staff at Metropole.

Exceptional location, right in the center of town and yet not noisy. Gorgeous views and balcony from the room and dining room. The most friendly staff who went above and beyond for every request. The best breakfast with great variety of fresh fruits.

The “Michelin star” restaurant… The menu have to be reviewed, please 🙏🏻 be more traditional with a grain of extravagance od course. The cheese that is not a cheese, the salami with no meat etc must absolutely be replaced. Excellent wine list and perfect service.

The hotel is in the middle of the center in Taormina either a great panoramic view over the ocean. We have been in Taormina many times but this hotel was the best. We recommend a room with an ocean view. Staff was great and small things like guided tour around Taormina and cannoli making by Msria was fantastic. Er are looking forward coming back ❤️
