This was my first stay after a long internaional travel and so I decided to choose a comfy hotel. And sure it was very comfortable with the silence and though the hotel itself feels a bit dated, it is the best value for money property in my opinion. Will definitely go back in April

For 4-star hotel I expected the slippers in the room, and a better breakfast (the food was average, considering an excellent Italian cuisine in the restaurants around). The towels were changed even if I did not asked for it, as they were clean. Just one shampoo-bath in the shower, no hair conditioner, and the hair drier is pretty old.

Rooms are spacious enough, additional covers and a pillow were available, the staff was really gentle and available. wifi OK

As per other reviews, the hotel would benefit from some renovation for aesthetic reasons (the room was perfectly comfortable).

Probably nothing as we were quite satisfied overall. The rooms looked a little old and dated and could do with some renovations but this is only a personal observation. Other guests may quite like the overall appearance of Hotel Michelangelo Palace and Spa as it is.

Checking in and out was quite straightforward. Dinner and breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly. Our room was quiet considering we were on the corner suite opposite the train station and had all the facilities needed for a one night stay and the bed was reasonably comfortable although would have preferred softer pillows.

The room needed an urgent renovation as there were cracks, dirty marks on the walls, and it smelled smoke quite intensely. The beds were quite old.

The location is great, opposite of the train station. We used the hotel parking. The room was spacious with a balcony.

It was what one expects given the price however the description of the structure on the website is very faithful to what it is and this is appreciated. The staff is super helpful and accommodating.

    nothing to gripe about.

At first I was put off by the building, and then by the lobby. However. the receptionist was so classy and kind that he allayed my fears. He directed us to their parking garage just by the hotel and we reentered the hotel via a tiny lift which was stuffy and stifling, badly in need of a face-lift. When we went up to the room we were dismayed by the heavy dark decor, but it looked clean and comfortable and it was only for a night. the shower stall was really crammed. We settled in and went out to explore and upon returning the lobby was lit up and had taken on an entirely different aura....very nice. Likewise the room, it was better in the lighting. the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Not much interest from the staff though. There's a lovely little garden and pool, and a tiny gym looking onto the garden.

Our room was nice and clean; however, it was warm and stuffy. Because we went in the spring, the air conditioning was "turned off" for the building, and we had to sleep with the patio door open. This was an issue for many reasons, most importantly, our patio was adjacent to the fire escape and was an easy climb over for someone to get into our room. We were offered another room. However, the patios were only separated by a small partition and could have had the same issue, but with a neighbor, we took our chances with the fire escape. All was well enough. We were two people with one towel and a load of hand towels, and the shower leaked.

We booked here at the last minute and checked in late evening. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very nice, with a boutique style, spa, pool, rooftop bar, and restaurant.

Staff was extremely helpful. The room was quite warm as air conditioning wasn’t working yet so they changed our room to a cooler one We dined in the restaurant attached to hotel and it was delicious with some of the best waiting staff I’ve ever experienced. The rooftop restaurant is advertised, but it wasn't explained it was closed. There was no information in the room to explain some of the facilities. The room that I ordered via Booking.com was supposed to have certain views, balcony etc and this was not the case.

The staff were lovely, the location is ideal for enjoying Umbrian countryside, positioned beside the train station is great for arrival and departure from Terni.
