We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful, peaceful location. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with a smile. This family-friendly accomodation was ideal for traveling with kids, offering a safe and welcoming environment. The highlight of our mornings was the delicious local breakfast, full of fresh, regional flavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and hospitality!

A very family-friendly, peaceful spot with wonderful staff tending to every need and question with a smile. We were traveling with our two year old and the hotel was perfect for this - providing us with a pack & play and diaper bin in our room, high chair for meals, and lots of toys on site to keep her entertained. The rooms were super clean and spatious, the breakfast was delicious with lots of local products from the area. The outdoor area is a highlight of the place, with its natural pool, shaded sunbeds, and a playground area for the kids. Check in was super easy and autonomous. If you want to stay in at night, you can use the kitchen area to prepare food, lots of guests do this and it works very well.

Hard to get by public transport - there are buses, but just a few per day.

Atmosphere, the feeling of an old house with modern appliances and design. Calm garden. Excellent breakfast. Exceptionally nice owner and staff. Great location for hiking trips.

Beautifully designed suites, with attention to every detail. It was such a pleasure to stay, and one of the best 'hotel' experiences I've had. It was also the first time my husband and I travelled with our 8-month-old and Michlhaus is just perfect for families; there are toys, space outside, and a lot of other families to interact with. It really felt like a home-away-from home. The views were gorgeous and the breakfast was excellent, all locally sourced. Would 10/10 recommend and come back again.

This property is not your usual cold hotel. It has all the benefits of the hotel being private, clean and well maintained, plus the cozy feeling of staying with friends. The owner is super friendly and helpful. If you want to experience the beauty of Dolomites, this is a place to stay!

Clean! Modern! Childfriendly Most gentle host, Petra !

❌ Shower in the room – The shower was located within the room itself, offering little privacy. This was unexpected and might be uncomfortable for some guests. ❌ Access to the breakfast area – To get to breakfast, we had to step outside and go down rather steep stairs. This was particularly inconvenient with small children, as we had to dress and undress them for each meal.

✅ Great location and easy check-in – The property was easy to find, had convenient parking, and the self-check-in process with a key in a lockbox was a great convenience. However, Petra, the host, still welcomed us personally, which was a lovely touch. ✅ Perfect for a large family – Finding a room for 2 adults and 3 children is often difficult, but here we had a spacious room for all of us. Our older daughters slept in a loft area beautifully decorated with rope patterns that also served as a safety barrier. Our youngest son had his own crib. ✅ Elevator and spacious room – Our room was on the top floor, but having an elevator made transporting luggage easy. The room itself was very spacious, providing great comfort for our family. ✅ Exceptional hospitality and attention to detail – Petra, the host, made us feel truly welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. She ensured our room was at a comfortable temperature, checking in with us to make any necessary adjustments. She was always available to help, offering valuable local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. Her personalized approach made our stay feel special and warm. During breakfast, Petra personally attended to each guest, ensuring no one was missing anything. Her kindness and dedication were evident in the way she prepared fresh, locally sourced meals every morning. She also took time to engage with us, sharing useful tips on how to make the most of our visit to Aldino. ✅ Delicious breakfast – Although there was a minor inconvenience in reaching the breakfast area (more on that below), the meals were absolutely delicious. We especially loved the fresh juices. Petra personally ensured that we had everything we needed. ✅ Self-service bar – Having access to a bar at any time was a fantastic convenience.

It is difficult to have privacy in the shower, maybe a curtain or another idea to separate it from the room would be appreciated by other travellers, maybe a few more consumables to make tea/ coffee in the room

Excellent accommodation, everything is made of quality material, and with very good taste. High tech suite, very warm, beds are very comfy, space for 7 rather than 4 people. Body wash smell that I will remember for a long time and duvet quality is superior. The common area is an excellent idea and has several things for kids and older kids (us!) games, puzzles, free to use kitchen and sitting area, nice outdoor area! The owner is fantastic, she takes pride in the accommodation and the home made breakfast!

The accommodations were exceptional. The renovated rooms contained all necessities and were very clean. Our host, Petra, was amazing. She greeted us and helped us park our vehicle, showed us around the property and served breakfast each morning. We’ve stayed in many places and highly recommend this property.

Petra is an amazing host !!!!!! She loves what she is doing and she greets people as nobody !!! She speaks many languages !!! (German, Italian, english, French and I am sure … many more !!!) she gives you many tips for your stay too !!! Thanks of her we discovered places we did not hear about and way more authentic than some of the well known places (Braies lake, tre cime du lavaredo) Petra is nice and adorable !!!! We loved her !!! About the property, First of all, the room. It was a spacious room with a comfortable living room and a terrace. The bed was comfortable !!!! The room was just perfect for us !!!! Then, the breakfast area. Just cut and confortable as well !!! The same for the common living room. The architecture is mixed with old and modern furniture. It is just perfect because you really feel like at home in an ambiance typical from the area and particularly from Michlhaus nature and suites. Finally the outside was as perfect as the inside. A swimming pool at the perfect temperature and they were enough deckchair and bed chair (by the way, they were modern, comfortable and new). Furthermore, you also have the playground where you kids can play !!!! Just perfect for family !!!!! One more thing about the property !!!! The location. It is really well situated !!!! If you want to visit the well known places like carezza lake or the wonderful natural sites in ortisei and Val de Funès !!!! You are just a 40 minutes to 1 hour from those places !!!! Plus, you are at 10 minutes from the geoparc bletterbach where you have more than 20 hiking paths (the ones who love hiking) and you also have hiking paths just near the property !!! And also a lake !!! You also have great local food restaurant just near the property but also in the well known places around !!! Petra will give you all the adresses !!!

We really enjoyed our stay. View from the apartment and the pool was amazing. Breakfast with all local food was absolutely delicious. Apartment was amazing and very well equipped. We have received many tips and advice from Petra and the team which were very useful. Highly recommend stay in Michlhaus.
