Ugo welcomed us to Milan personally and provided a concise but very informative overview of the apartment and facilities as well as places to go, means of transportation, grocery and restaurants and all the essentials. Unbelievably hospitable host, the apartment is packed with everything you need and you didn’t know you needed. Impressive view from the balcony. 5 min to metro. Altogether it makes staying in the apartment a lovely experience.

We could not turn off the lights in the bathroom and tried hard until we realized that it was coming down nicely from a roof window. All the rest was even nicer.

A comfortable apartment on the 9th floor with a balcony overlooking Milan, completely equipped and quiet, with an easy metro connection to the center, a small park in front to walk our dog, and wonderful hosts who were gentle, helpful, who easily found a parking space nearby, and brought us four kinds of fresh cheese from the market to enrich the taste of our further drive down Italy.

Shower in bathroom could do with bit of an update but did work and no issues with it.

Location fab, host was excellent meeting to get the keys and explaining location and what's around. Location was right near tram stop that takes you to the centre. Shops nearby open late aswell and bars nearby.

Beautiful place to spend your time in Milano. The apartment is very cozy with an old italian vibe. We loved it. Equiped with everything you need, AC in both rooms, kitchen fully equiped etc The balcony provides an extraordinary view! Ugo, the owner, is one of the best italian people i've met. As a woman who came alone. As a disadvantage I perceive the park in front of the apartment where strange people gather, which is unpleasant if you return in the evening, but this is not the owner's fault.

Ugo had installed a brand new Air conditioner but it was not yet commissioned, considering its summer better check with him once that it is indeed working now... no other negative as such.

Has to be Ugo - our host! He was waiting for us outside the building as we arrived; and made it his business to ensure we had everything in the room. Coming from India/south-east asia where the level of hospitality is probably the best in the world, we didn't expect the warm hospitality from Ugo. It also helps that he's been in the neighbourhood for 50 years so knows the area very well. The room is a cute 1 bed-room + hall/kitchen, has all basic amenities, functional kitchen, toilet and washing machine.

We had a lovely stay in Milan. Ugo was especially a super nice and welcoming host and took the trouble of waiting for us to hand over the keys. Not just that, we personally walked us through all the details in the apartment and even made us coffee himself. He also provided us with all relevant information about the city, dos and dont's and also advised us on our itinerary. He also came back to say goodbye during checkout and walked us to our taxi. We really appreciate his availability and helpfulness. The apartment is very very functional and spacious. It is in an old building, however, it has been remodeled and hence has all the necessary facilities. Most importantly, it is literally a 2-3 min walk from the Lambrate FS metro station as well as the Milano Lambrate train station. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone traveling to Milano.

The host Ugo was superb, showed and left us everything so we didn't have to put our hands in our pockets for the essentials, which is relieving, also, he was more than kind enough to give us his time late one night to give us the run down of Milan , by doing so he saved us money. Perfect choise for our stay in Milan. The apartment was in a very convenient location next to metro station. The view from the balcony (9 floor) was amazing! Our host Filomena was brilliant she gave us a lot of information for our stay and she was really kind and helpful! We will return for sure!

I wish we stayed longer.

We really love the apartment. Yes it may be old but it has everything which we needed. With Our 4 year old daughter , we had a wonderful stay.It was really peaceful to have wine in the balcony.. Ugo and his wife were so kind and helpful. The location is also superb, so close to lambrate metro and bus station , you can also go many places by walking. Nice and safe neighborhood. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic views over Milan, especially at sunrise. Kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for us, the morning walk into the centre was no trouble. AC and internet worked exceptionally. Very friendly host.

Apartment would benefit from upgrading in a number of areas, particularly the shower enclosure.

Location as we were very near a metro station which went into the centre. Great facilities for cooking including staples. Very good selection of toiletries. Excellent bottle of wine supplied by host. Host exceptionally helpful in explaining facilities and making suggestions for places to visit.
