The location is excellent for those visiting the basilica. However It takes a while to walk to the restaurants in city centre. The hotel has a beautiful view of the basilica/city and a good breakfast.

Parking was a problem. The attendant told me I couldn't park at the hotel because I hadn't made a reservation. However, I had asked in advance, and they told me they didn't accept reservations... very inconsistent and putting the blame on me! I had to park in a private lot that wasn't close by. Furthermore, getting to the hotel by car is difficult, especially with the police traffic restrictions. Finally, I had requested rooms close together, and they put my family on different floors...

Honestly nothing, everything was perfect.

Very conveniently located in the heart of Assisi's old town, with panoramic views of the San Francesco Basilica. Stunning sunsets on the 3rd floor terrace. Generous and nicely furnished room. Great breakfast with a wide selection of fresh sweet pastries. A special appreciation for the wonderful and very helpful team, especially signora Carla - I came in with a freshly sprained ankle and was extremely generously taken care of and even invited for some food and drink with the team at night. Truly blessed thanks again! ❤️

This hotel is by far a 2-star hotel. It's breathtaking. The hotel is just across the street from the church. The room we had has an amazing view of the church. The room also had excellent cold ac, the bathroom was absolutely clean with toiletries, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are not huge, but, enough for a couple. You can feel the history of the hotel.

The breakfast was amazing, the table on which is the food is replenished promptly. You can choose sweet or savoury whichever you fancy. Very good coffee is available. Adults and children enjoy it very much. The location is amazing with a view of Saint Francis’ basilica. The lovely office staff is very kind and helpful. We loved everything about this place and definitely if we visit Assisi again we will book this hotel again.

Location is amazing. Accommodation is simple, clean, cool and spacious - perfectly located for visiting the Basilica - and the staff helpful and friendly.

Everything. The staff was extremely nice. The place is so pretty with an amazing view on the wonderful basilica S. Francisco. The terrasse is perfect to watch landscape. The breakfast is well served. The room was cleaned everyday. I really loved the little church in this hotel. And all of this for a very good price I will come back for sure !

The only negative point is that we hear easily people in others room and in the corridor. But despite of this, everything was perfect

The hotel used to be a monastery that was turned into the hotel this year. The location is unbeatable, it's literally across the St. Francis cathedral. The staff was very helpful and cordial, giving recommendations for the day, where to park, where to eat and how to tour around the city. The room was bing enough, not very luxurious, but with an AC unit and comfortable beds. Breakfast was OK, nothing to boast about, but good enough options.

The staff is only available until 11:00 PM, after that you're on your own. The parking space is very limited, and since it's in the middle of the old-town, parking nearby is not really an option. It would suck on a rainy day.

This is my second time staying here. I really enjoyed my stay, the peaceful atmosphere and the lovely breakfast with homemade cakes and friendly Gabriella to greet the guests (and who she remembered me from my previous stay). The ladies at reception were very professional and kind as well. I've recommended this place to friends and will continue to do so! My only wish is that by renovating the rooms they don't strip the place from the soulful sacred atmosphere from the history of the old previous convent which adds enormously to this beautiful place. Can't wait for my next visit!

Felt privileged to have a sunny room with a direct view over St Francis Basilica out of our window! Perfect location for exploring beautiful Assisi. Friendly, helpful staff.
