This resort is truly a gem, featuring a beautifully curated garden and a delightful pool that enhances the overall experience. The room, while not particularly large, was both comfortable and clean. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. The on-site bar and restaurant were equally impressive, offering not only excellent food but also a charming setting with tables nestled in the stunning garden. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a variety of options to start the day on a high note. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Stunning facilities, rooms were comfortable, staff were nice and the restaurant was great.

Kids were left to run wild around the pool. Not their fault - kids are kids - but we had a device ruined by the splashing of screaming children jumping into the pool next to us. And it was constant. Not quite the relaxing holiday we were hoping for.

Perfect place to relax for a sunny holiday, close from Otranto just 10 minutes drive and also amazing food in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast is amazing.

Warm and welcoming environment. Spacious room with large terrace. High levels of cleanliness throughout with beautiful, well maintained pool and gardens. Professionalism of staff who provided exceptional service. Excellent breakfast and dinner in lovely restaurant. Lovely relaxing base to explore the Salento region. Would highly recommend.

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the outstanding hospitality. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff, especially Anna and Alice, made us feel incredibly welcome. Their genuine care and personal attention were so touching that we decided to extend our stay. The quality of the food was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the live dance music evening and the olive oil excursion, both thoughtfully included in our package. The large pool with poolside service added to the relaxation, making our experience unforgettable. We left with full hearts and cherished memories.

We loved our four night stay at Borgo Mulino a Vento: the best hotel of our excellent Puglia holiday. It felt a very sophisticated, friendly and charming hotel with delicious, quality food for breakfast and dinner, excellent wine and friendly, kind staff. As English we were massively in the minority and few spoke English - but this was charming for us and never an issue. Practically, Borgo Mulino a Vento is about 10 minutes drive from Otranto (one of the nicest towns we visited). There’s plenty of free parking at the hotel and I would say you need your own transport. We used it as a base to explore Gallipoli and the coastline south. Our room for three was comfortable: not over fussy but sophisticated with a double and single bed and kettle, mini-fridge, terrace, etc. All rooms are ground floor and in blocks set over a reasonably large area of garden. The pool is lovely with plenty of seating. Breakfast was excellent - a wide range of delicious options. Dinner was equally excellent (we were half board) and we loved all the local food often made with produce from the hotel gardens. I would highly recommend Borgo Mulino a Vento and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Nothing - it was excellent.

We came here expecting it to be excellent but everything was even better if that is possible. The hotel rooms are spaced out around beautiful gardens with a stunning pool in the centre. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice to suit everyone's tastes. The staff were so friendly and kind. The hotel is just a few minutes away from beautiful Otranto which we loved.

Needs a better spa.

This is an exceptionally well run hotel. All the staff seemed to enjoy working at the hotel and really went out of their way to make it a special experience for us. The interior design is brilliant, blending nicely with the nature while providing a touch of luxury. The breakfast selection was excellent and the restaurant quality was very high, using some fresh ingredients from their gardens. The location is great, 10 minutes from Otranto, short drive from good beaches and bars and restaurants. Tour of the underground olive mill was also a great addition.

It was so nice in the hotel it was hard to drag ourselves away to explore the local area!

Lovely family run hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The accommodation was lovely and relaxing and exceptionally well kept and clean. Breakfast and dinner were excellent . We did a pasta making class at the hotel, which was a lovely experience and great fun. The owner gave us a lovely tour of their kitchen garden as well. It was obvious how hands on and proud the family are of their business.

very nice and lovely place to stay. unfortunately we only booked for two nights because we were traveling to different cities and locations. the breakfast was very nice. many options to eat. I would definitely recommend and I am also planning to stay once again.

be careful with the pool, the depth is misleading. my daughter jumped from side and hit the bottom hard. it did not hurt badly but could be worse. there should be more warning signs to prevent this happening. Otherwise it was a very nice pool and nothing else to complain.

What a stunning oasis of calm and beauty. If only we could have stayed longer we would. Staff bent over backwards for us. Upgraded us because we requested a quiet room, so much attention to detail at breakfast time and Daniela allowed us to use her phone to make an emergency call. Welcome drink was very lovely! We borrowed two v decent bikes to cycle round the countryside as the sun set and the gym looked great even tho we didn’t get a chance to use it as we had to leave in a hurry. All staff were fab, bed super comfy, stunning interiors and would highly recommend this hotel. Would have done a cookery class if time too! Quick and easy drive to Otranto. Please don’t miss staying at this beautiful place!

Fantastic pool with pool area, our room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them.

I feel that the wall between our room and the bathroom of the room next door wasn't very sound-proof as we could hear every time they flushed the toilet and every time they took a shower.

The property was very nice, quiet and idyllic. The rooms were very big. The staff was very helpful and friendly and gave us the best recommendations for sights and beaches. Also we had the opportunity to join a tour to the ancient underground oil mills of the hotel and an oil tasting, which was very informative and very well organized.
