The swimming pools are spectacular The location is great, the common facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant and bar were good with plenty of options

The room lacked storage (wardrobe, drawers, etc). The shower cap was kind of broken. The breakfast buffet was really poor (variety and quantity), and the a la carte option took ages to be served (almost 25min to get a simple omelette!, -and there were only three more couples having breakfast so we didn't understand the wait at all)

This was my favorite stop in Italy! Call me we enjoyed the quiet relaxing vacation that we were looking for. The pools are spring fed and marvelous and our hostess was gracious and I especially love my room that had beautiful French doors and a private patio outside. I highly recommend this and I will be!

We are not aware that the swimming area was open to outside day visitors. It was a little crowded on the weekends, but we were provided with a beautiful private area for hotel guests to enjoy comfortable lounge, chairs, and umbrella seating.weekdays were perfection.

Breakfast was good, and decent swimming pool facilities. Had free parking lots as well for those that are driving there. Staff (especially Sara who was working at the cafe/bar) were polite too. The restaurant onsite served decent food and offered 10% discount to hotel guest.

There was no Wifi during my stay. Wifi was apparently down for the whole hotel during the period of my stay. Given how important Wifi and internet is, the hotel should not have allowed this to happen. Even if it was outside their control, the hotel should do something to compensate guest for the absence of any internet connectivity. TV programmes were mainly local Italian shows. Could have a wider variety of shows for international guest.

Lovely location, attractive buildings, easy to find and access.

WiFi didn’t work in room or restaurants.

The manager/owner of the farmstay was really nice, we had an upgrade to a room with a garden, the place is really nice for a long family holiday although we only stayed for two days, and it was raining so we didn't really used the garden. Swimming pool was not open during the time of visit. If we are going back to Tuscany, will definitely stay there again, great location easy access to nearby wine tasting and Siena.

The noise isolation is poor, we were woke up by the the knocking on the door (maybe next door or cleaner?) it was really loud in the morning.

The premises are very nice, but only by car. Very quiet and a overall a nice building. The room is big, luxurious enough, comfortable bed and clean. Nice bathroom as well. I think in summer is even better since they have multiple swimming pools.

The overall idea of breakfast is somehow strange: the sweets are buffet, for the actual food you have to order from the waiter from an already written list at the entrance. However, quality ingredients.

All great. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Despite prior reviews on internet it worked fine but apparently is weather contingent because of satellite reception. Highly recommend for Tuscany base and location to several great wineries.

This property was the best of 8 we stayed in on this trip. Our junior suite room was very comfortable for 4 adults. The furnishings were beautiful, there was a full kitchen and very large 2 part bathroom. There is s restaurant on the premises which is wonderful and the included breakfast was magnificent. There is plenty of parking available on site when we were there. The gigantic pool was too cool for us to swim must be amazing in the summer.

    All was excellent!

Beautiful historic property near Siena, the lovely room was comfortable & clean with nice amenities. Had a delicious breakfast each morning. Patrizia & staff were very kind, helpful & accommodating. They have a nice restaurant & outdoor pool (seasonal) here on the property. Highly recommend staying here for your trip to Tuscany.

We had a lovely stay at Mulino, supported by the wonderful Patrizia who was so kind and helpful in answering our many questions. The room itself was compact but cute and comfortable, with a nice large shower. The bed was comfortable though a little short for my 6ft husband! The breakfast was a real highlight - absolutely wonderful spread of pastries, biscuits, fresh fruit and delicious cooked offerings - the ham and cheese omelette was delicious! It was a good base in Chianti to visit towns like San Gimignano, Siena and the Val d’Orcia. We also made use of the free adjoining pool complex and were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves!

The wi-fi was often slow and patchy. No kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. The onsite restaurant whilst convenient was hard to get a booking at and our first meal there (lunch) of fettuccine ragu and pasta cacio e pepe was underwhelming, though our last meal (dinner) of pizza and beef was much better. We also ate at the bistro once and really enjoyed our meals there.

    Good restaurant for dinner

Old doesn’t mean broken - the third bed was broken and after the "exchange" left in the middle of the room - it could only be moved sideways; Doube bed very uncomfortable (springy like a trampoline). Shower - showerhead kept on switching on itself, the shower's door were broken. Wardrobe didn’t close properly. No storage space (especially in the bathroom). Breakfast supposed to be until 10 o clock yet the handwashing dishes started early - it was so noisy that you couldn’t even eat, even talk. Breakfast (for example, yogurt with fruit - they ran out of fruit…), water and juice not replenished, glasses missing; fruit full of flies, everything by order, but only 5 or 6 items to choose from. Air conditioning turned off by housekeeping, room temperature almost at 30°C in the afternoon. Impossible to park because of the crowded swimming pool (weekend). Swimming pool is full during the week, and overpacked on weekends. Overpriced.

    Property response:

We remember you very well. We remberer, in specially, your absurd demands and your arrogant and rude manner. It is really outrageous, as well as not at all honest, to declare false things just because we were forced, at a certain moment, to put a stop to your specious requests and to your so rude behaviour towards the staff and the other guests. The bed was not broken. You asked, insistently, for an additional bed. And we put it there. Of course this reduced the space available, as we said you. You should have booked a family room, and not a triple room, in order to have separated beds and separated rooms. During your stay, we found the shower with a coming off seal and we put it back on. The shower head does not turn on by itself, you just have to turn the button off. Breakfast ends at 10,00 a.m. If you regularly come down after hours, the buffet is not well-stocked. In any case, in addition to the things on the buffet, and to what is listed on the blackboard, as you know, you can order à la carte eggs freshly cooked in various ways (scrambled, with bacon, omelette), charcuterie and cheese boards, stuffed focaccia, toasts. It is not tollerable improper and disrespectful  behaviour, even at the cost of announced negative reviews. Sincerely, Patrizia
