The breakfast served in the courtyard outside is Divine :) The staff are extremely attentive and kind. The room is clean and comfortable and the hotel is situated in a great position.

The location is great, nice restaurants around, a beach very close to the hotel (8 minutes walking). The breakfast is incredible, best I ever had in a Hotel. Staff are also very nice and helpful, we didn't have a car and they offer a shuttle to the train station or book taxis to go to nearby places. Can highly recommend!

From greeting to leaving this place was very special. We loved the kindness and hospitality of the staff. A welcome drink on arrival is something I’ve not experienced in a long time, was lovely to see this at this hotel. We loved the pool area. The breakfast is another level of amazing - we come to Italy every year and this is one of the very best - would be 5 star if in England! The bed and pillows very comfy. The rooms and all facilities are spotlessly clean. There is a shuttle service but we did not use as we had a car. Not far from the beach, a small port and a few km from the beautiful little historic centre of Maratea. You can even see the Christ redeemer statue from the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Murmann was exceptional. A hidden gem in the beautiful town of Maratea along the coast, away from heavy tourism and amongst the local population. The hotel is just an 8 minute walk from the nearest beach, as well as close to local shops and a supermarket. The breakfast was the best we have had along our trip. The pool and surrounding area was gorgeous, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating, even offering to pick us up and bring us to the nearby train station at check in and check out, along with all of our luggage. We wish we stayed longer! We will be back!

We had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were helpful and even arranged a complimentary tuktuk ride to the train station, which made our departure much easier. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was nice for relaxing. The breakfast was amazing with fresh local products, tasty juices, and local cakes and croissants. Everything was fresh and well-presented with regional flavors.

We were not able to try the swimming pool, as after our walk we were 15 mins after pool was "closed", although it was still light outside, they didn`t let us to swim. In the morning we had already to check out.

I didn’t like going to the desk for a towel for the pool. The air conditioning did not get very cool. The breakfast was great, but having to order ala carte was inconvenient.

Had a great stay at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were fantastic and friendly. It had beautiful gardens and was in a superb location, within walking distance to a fabulous free beach and several restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Local transport

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were really nice, did the maximum they could to help us. The hotel is very clean and very pretty. Walking down and up to the beach required a bit of effort for seniors like us, but was lovely. Very few English there but that was good for us as we study Italian. Wonderful supermarket nearby and a few restaurants within walking distance. It is better to have your own car.

It was a perfect spot to get a glimpse of a nice and simple hotel. We liked it all.

The hotel was a perfect place to unwind for one night but only wish we stayed longer. It was relaxing in maratea and the pool was wonderful for my swimmer husband to enjoy in the morning. We had such a nice welcome from the staff and a delish and plentiful breakfast. We walked to the beach to just enjoy the sea and it was quiet with a few people and dogs. There are restaurants nearby that were good value and also a little town a few minutes away. Clean room and we had a balcony to enjoy too. I would stay again for sure.

I must say that I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful and would have picked us up from train station, but, in general, because of the nature of the town of Maratea, it is best to have some kind of transportation. Being May, public transportation was still a bit scarce, since tourist season does not start until early June. We relied on taxis a couple of times, and the staff arranged them for us, taxis were there within a few minutes.

Staff was extrardordinary. They went out of our way to make sure were comfortable. We came without a car, so, they were very helpful with advice on both public transportation and taxi options. Breakfast was exceptional, table side service, with a large variety of things, all very delicious. The building was well maintained and it had a wonderful and colorful patio, very comfortable to sit and catch some sun, surrounded by trees and flowers.

The breakfast was served (not buffet). It was quite a good breakfast but when travelling I prefer a buffet option.

The hotel was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. A courtesy vehicle was available if necessary (we didn’t have a car).

A great little hotel in a lovely location in Maratea. The beach below is only a short walk and again walking distance to local trattoria. We were welcomed by lovely, professional staff. A great stop over in the enchanting coast that is Maratea
