Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe bathroom is a bit outdated, but it is fully functional, we did not have any problem with it. A mirror in the room would be nice (not a complaint, just a suggestion).
Comfortable, clean, well-equipped apartment, great location. It was quiet, which we appreciated very much. The owners were very responsive and picked us up from the airport (for a fee, of course). The shared kitchen is also very nice.

United KingdomBe aware that being in the historic centre the building is old so some of the fittings and fixtures (like light switches) are also old. The self-check in procedure felt complicated (but I was very tired and Sergio was responsive and helpful on the phone). Once I realised that the apartment was the one with multiple key safes (referred to as chest of drawers) by the side of the apartment's door it was much clearer. However it is a great base to stay in Naples and very comfortable. I would stay again.
The location of this property is perfect. On one end of the main street in the historic centre and a short walk to the main station and where you can take trains, the metro or the bus to the airport. Lots of food places nearby too. Sergio the host is really responsive to messages and helpful and even messaged after my first night to check everything was OK. It was very clean and it was also a nice touch to have channels like netflix on the TV. I also got a free room upgrade which was lovely (to the one with a jacuzzi). Thank you Sergio.

GreeceThis is a somewhat less charming neighborhood (we were told to avoid the narrow roads vertically crossing Via dei Tribunali) The only drawback is the lack of an elevator (which we knew beforehand), making it a challenge to carry luggage for 2 + 1 levels of stairs or for those with mobility issues, like my mother.
We stayed at this property in the historical center of Naples, located on the main road. The building’s exterior reflects its age, with wear visible on both sides. While the façade appears partly renovated, the heavy, old entrance door can be tricky to open, but the owner can immediately open it remotely, in case of issues. The staircase, unfortunately, has noticeable cracks and adds to the worn feel. Inside our room, everything was brand new and clean. The interior felt nicely restored compared to the rest of the building. It was very clean and equipped with a TV, air conditioning, a small desk, and a mini refrigerator. The linens and towels were fresh and crisp, and the window shutters provided excellent sound insulation, shielding us from the noise outside. The communal kitchen on the second floor was a pleasant surprise, stocked with everything needed, including a coffee machine, tea, and they even left some welcome treats like water bottles, pastries, and jam in our room. Both owners were amazing, they are seriously the best, very attentive, responding promptly to our requests for an extra quilt and offering helpful tips for exploring Naples. Our room (Room 3) had a private bathroom located just outside in the hallway, next to Room 4, which also has its own bathroom. The shared hallway setup was manageable, and our bathroom was spacious and adequately clean, though signs of aging were evident. It featured a glass shower, hairdryer, toiletries, and plenty of towel hangers. There was also a very polite cleaning lady taking care of all spaces everyday, they take clealniness very seriously and honestly this is one of the cleanest properties i have ever rented, always smelling fresh!! Overall, while the property shows its age, the room itself was comfortable and very well-maintained, and the host’s hospitality added a warm touch to our stay.

IsraelSpacious room right in the heart of Naples – couldn’t ask for a better location. With the windows closed, it’s pretty quiet too. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, they even let me check out a bit later and stored my bags for free until my flight. The common living room area was a great spot to cook and connect with other guests. Highly recommend staying here!

United StatesFine with these two things but not everybody might be. To get to my room it was 55 stairs up. There are some rooms on the floor below, however. There would be about 45 stairs from the street. The street noise was loud at night, but I was so tired. It didn’t matter and I just closed the windows so it didn’t bother me. Again you’re staying in the heartbeat. They weren’t a lot of other guests when I was there, but I have feeling the walls might be a little thin. Also an excellent restaurant right next-door with delicious pasta very reasonable. You’ll see the line at night the name is “Cala La pasta”
Stay in the heartbeat of Naples! I really enjoyed my stay at this location. It was comfortable and clean my my bathroom even had a beautiful bathtub that I used for my weary body from traveling so much. The coffee provided was the most delicious I had in Italy. The staff was amazing and the host would check on me to see if everything was good and it was. This is the old center of town and it is hustling and bustling with people cars scooters you name it. The street is an old narrow street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is a large museum across the way. It’s very close to the train station and the metro station. About 11 to 13 minutes walking. There is a taxi provider below in the street that you can pre-book a taxi. So many things to see are walkable. You can even take a pasta making class right around the corner. An amazing location if you want to experience the heartbeat of Naples.

HungaryWhen we arrived, we did not receive any response on how to access the apartment. There was no cell reception in the bathroom, and the cleanliness was substandard, even the towels were not clean. We requested warmer bedding due to the cold temperature in the apartment, but the staff was unhelpful. Additionally, the street outside was noisy and felt unsafe, causing us to wake up multiple times during the night.
