Minor complaints: The hotel was on the fourth floor, and the elevator took a small eternity to go all the way down or up. The water pressure in the room was not great. It doubled the time required to take a shower.

A pretty good experience overall. The location was great, within walking distance of many big attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff were always polite.

My favorite thing about the hotel was its proximity to Rome's tourist attractions. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I was traveling with my daughter, and it was important to me that the hotel was in a safe area. It met my expectations.

The room we stayed in was kind of bare. Shutters didn’t fully cover window pane in bathroom.

Cafeteria was lacking. One day the yogurt machine wasn’t working. Then the juice machine wasn’t working. The only hot items were grilled ham and cheese sandwiches

I could have used a fan for the room as it was quite warm in the evening. It did cool down overnight, though.

We loved being in the middle of the city and listening to the birds and the quiet. Our room overlooked the courtyard. It was beautiful. The windows opened up wide to let the fresh spring air inside. The hotel kept our luggage for the morning as we enjoyed our time in the city.

There were a few ants in my room.

All of the staff are very nice and attentive. The location is fantastic, considering how central it is to the big attractions, there is virtually no noise pollution. Hard to find something like that in a bustling city like Rome! Great value for money. Would book again next time.

For us it was completely fine. We did not find anything missing or in need to be better.

One of the plug fittings was a bit old and hard for the plug to stay in, so it could do with updating. Very satisfied overall, though.

The hotel felt traditional. It had character and was not homogenous and modern, but was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful when we had questions. I needed some batteries and the manager gave me some. We had plenty to eat at the continental breakfast.

Although the en suite bathroom was newly decorated the water pressure was low. The double room itself was on the small side.

The staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable and the room felt clean. The location was very good. The hotel is a short walk to the main station and close to the Villa Borghese Gardens. The Colliseum is a pleasant short walk away and it is very easy to get to the Vatican City by metro with two metro stations close by. The reception was open 24 hours and they allowed you to store your luggage there on the check-out day.

Rooms are quite dated and had pretty limited space for a twin room. Single beds felt quite small.

Room was clean, and did the job required for an overnight stay. Good variety and spread at breakfast.

Our only issue was the water flush for the toilet, but it did work with a couple of tries.

My sister and I booked a twin room at the last minute. We got a really great price and were not expecting much. This was a nice hotel on the 4th floor of building serviced by a lift. Our room was quiet. Bathrooms looked newly renovated. Beds were comfy with nice bedding. Room was large for Rome. Breakfast was 5euro and included cereal, pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheese. The breakfast room is in a lovely glass atrium and there is also a glass sitting area. Hotel is in a quiet street with other hotels and we walked from Termini.

It is an old building and therefore the shower was not the most powerful as it is an old water system. No air con but was able to sleep with the window open.

The location was central..many restaurants nearby and quiet, safe street. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was great!

Friendly personal. We asked to change the room, and personal made it easy and according to our demands. Rooms are big enough, pretty new equiped. Brekfast was good enough and very cheap for such quantity.

Very central hotel on the 4th floor of the building with a quaint old fashioned lift. Good sized rooms and recently renovated en suite. Breakfast was only €5 and included everything you would expect except for hot food.

The fridge didn’t work but reception took a few small bits we had into their fridge which was great. There was also a lot of noise from the windows when there was heavy rain that night and a bit of water got into the room, it can’t be helped as it’s an old building so it just might need to be looked at.

The location was great! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and I loved the design of the bathroom! It had everything for a short stay of 1 night. As we were out all day before our flight the next day. I would definitely stay again for a short stay.
