How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No tea facilities in the room and poor breakfast, I only had a cup.of tea per day I ate a yogurt and toast once. No hot options only cheeses, ham, dry over cooked scrambled egg ,cakes yoghurts and only 2 cerial options.

Verified reviewThe aesthetics in each room could easily be a 4 or 5 star room. They really are something special. Always very clean, modern and comfy. Rooms are spacious too. Staff were always very helpful and kind. Cosy swimming pool area at the back of property and the location in terms of beach proximity is idealic.
The only thing I'd like them to consider is to keep the pancakes & eggs warm. It would make the breakfast experience much tastier. But overall, it was a truly memorable stay.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The welcome at the reception was very warm and friendly, which made us feel comfortable right away. The hotel itself is beautiful, and we especially appreciated that we could easily reach everything by bike. The hotel kindly provided us with bicycles, which made exploring the area very enjoyable. The staff was always helpful and extremely kind, which made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended

Verified reviewThe staff were amazing - so helpful, so thoughtful, they gave an extra special personal service - nothing was too much trouble and they were really kind.
The breakfast was good by Italian standards as breakfast is not such a big thing in Italy but may be disappointing compared to other European hotels. It would have been good if they put out some bananas at breakfast. I did think it was quite expensive for a 3* but I couldn’t fault it and would stay again and recommend to anyone! :-)

Regarding the air conditioning, we did experience a minor technical issue caused by a temporary overload due to the high seasonal demand, but we are glad we were able to intervene and get it working again during your stay. As for the hot tub, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. It seems there was a technical malfunction affecting the jet system. Unfortunately, these types of tubs can require frequent and sometimes unpredictable maintenance, but please know we are actively working to resolve the issue to ensure it doesn’t affect future stays. Verified reviewThe location was perfect! We hopped from their nice outdoor pool (a must) to the beach that is literally across the street from the hotel. The staff was outstanding and catered to our every need. The hotel is spotlessly clean and they offered a large Continental breakfast with a large variety of items to choose from. The rooms as cool with Air Conditioning, a must have in the heat wave and the outdoor pool was the perfect temperature to cool off. My daughter and I basically did “Pool to Beach, Beach to Pool” during our stay. There are a few restaurants within walking distance for lunch and dinner but the hotel had endless supplies of cold drinks for us.

Verified reviewWe were in a Delux double sea view room with a hot tub. The room was clean but could do with some TLC, the air con wasn’t great nor was the fridge !! The beach was very over crowded (no private section for the hotel)
The photos of the room were outdated, the staff and cleanliness was good. The bus route into town was good and the taxi tours and rides were reasonably priced.

Verified reviewThe Staff are amazing😍 My Mum had an accident on whilst she was on holidays from Australia shes been in a hospital for 2.5 weeks and I have been in this beautiful part of the world incagliar for 10 days, spending most of it in hospital, I was staying in Petrarca which was pretty cental to the old town and easier to catch the bus to hospital, cause it was too hard to call a cab due to the English and italian language barrier. When i finally got the information that she can fly home..i needed to get out od the b&b that i was staying in and found the Hotel Nautilus right on the beach a good place to just re ground yourself the beds are amazingly comfortable the staff are wonderful and breaky is beautiful. I cant fault one minute if the time ive had to be here. Its nice to have a front desk and people to talk to to help organise transfers from the hospital but the bus system in this town is easy and frequent also once you work it out.

Loved everything, the only improvement I would make is maybe offer a lunch/evening meal option alongside the yummy breakfast. There are plenty of places locally to dine, however they are mostly fish restaurants. If the hotel did offer something that was an alternative to fish, even a simple salad or sandwiches, that would be perfect.
