Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWhere do I start! Our stay here was exceptional. This unique Casale is in a beautiful location, with the wonderful Mirco and Katerina as hosts. The breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever had, attention to detail is great. Super comfy beds, lovely spacious showers, toiletries on hand. The hosts were so knowledgeable and helpful, nothing was too much hassle. They have a beautiful home they are sharing with a lucky few. The home grown food & local produce really was outstanding. Thank you so much for such a wonderful trip to the amalfi coast, we will be back and cannot wait see what more you do with your special home. Best bits: Always helping with tips and places to visit Breakfast outside all freshly made Cakes were divine Best sleep in a long time All necessary amenities (hairdryer, toiletries, tv with Netflix, fridge) Thank you so much!

RomaniaI liked everything
The house is very beautiful, located in a very nice&quiet area. If you like nature and autentic Italian countryside, the place is definitely the right place to be. I fully recommend the location. It is close to Sorrento as well and easy to reach there. The breakfast was amazing, natural local products, attentively selected and extremly delicious. Mirco is an exceptional host, very passionate of what's doing and offers very good tips about the area. The room extremly clean & comfortable. You can do daily trips in this amazing area: seacoast views, olive & lemon trees, very good local restaurants.

SwitzerlandWe spent an unforgettable stay at Nostos - Casale. The house is located in a very nice and central location. The room is very spacious with a nice terrace and cozy sitting area under the olive trees. Mirko and family provide excellent serivce and are very friendly and helpful. We felt like we were at home. The welcome apero is incredibly delicious with many delicacies from the region. The breakfast is in a class of its own.....we already look forward to our next visit!

BelgiumNothing we did not like. It was heaven on earth!
The bedroom is located in a very nice renovated property, very quiet and peaceful. We spent 2 weeks on the Amalfi Coast early September and stopped for 2 nights in Nostos, Casale e Permacultura. It was the best stay we had during those 2 weeks, the most authentic, genuine in fact. All the credit goes to Mirko, the young owner, who is really helpful and gives you a lot of good recommendations on his region and also further away. We also spent some time talking with him (very pleasant moments) and he showed us his vegetable garden: all organic vegetables, what else? The icing on the cake is the food Mirko serves. Breakfast is just delicious. Every morning: fresh orange juice, fresh fruit from his garden (including figs, my favourites), homemade mandarin crostata or apple cake, almonds, homemade granola, .... And also some warm dishes: Mirko cannot serve you a simple egg. He will serve it with garden vegetables cut in a nice way, put it on a homemade humus, etc. You will never leave the table hungry! As we read previous comments on the casale, we also asked him to have dinner on the first night we arrived (you have to book it in advance). What can I say? I like to be surprised when I eat away from home: I was not disappointed at all!!! We had a series of small portions, all extremely tasty, nicely presented with vegetables and spices from the garden, but also some local products. Mirko is very creative in the way he cooks. We can say he is an artist! We had 2 lovely days at Mirko's casale and will certainly come back there if we go back in this region. Isabelle and Michel

JapanBecause it’s a passive/carbon neutral property, the ventilation does make it low humidity. I needed to keep water close at hand.
Mirko was an excellent host. Very kind, gracious, and helpful. The property is magical. It’s like having your own villa! It’s also very special that the delicious food comes right from the surrounding farm.

GermanyThere's really nothing to critisise concerning Mirco's accomodation or Sant'Agata itself. We only want to indicate that it can be sometimes a bit difficult being on the the move by public transport in this rural region (as we did). The buses are comfortable but sometimes they run later as noted or they do not run at all. For using Mirco's restauraurant recommendations in the evening it would definitely be better to have a car.
We can only agree to all the positive reviews that were given before. At Mirco's nearly everything is extraordinary: + the well designed passive house + the guest rooms with all comfort + the big garden with several places to relax + the welcome snack and the opulent breakfast with daily homemade surprises with ingredients from the own garden or from eco-farming + and at least Mirko himself who does everything with so much passion, who makes you feel so welcome, helps you booking trips, gives you a lot of recommendation where to eat and where to hike and gives you an insight of his life, his wonderful family and his 'Napoli' and surroundings. We hope that everything will work fine for him in the future and that some day we'll meet again. We enjoyed our stay so much!

New ZealandThis place goes beyond all expectations. Mirco is a talented young man with passion both for the environment, and a more simple life where you grow your own produce and share with your freinds and family. From the moment you arrive he treats you like you are a long lost relative and wants to ensure you have the best experience possible. Staying here immerses you in local Italian life whilst staying in a stunning well crafted and styled environmentally friendly casa (the pics don’t do it justice). Mirco grows his own produce and brings it to the table for breakfast making this an event in itself each morning. I cannot say how much I wish this family the best for the future as they develop this property further. I hope to return one day to celebrate that dreams can come true ! Thank you Mirco for an unbelievable stay xx

United KingdomWhat a truly exceptional find! Not only were the room and grounds gorgeous, Mirco the host and his food make it something quite special. Mirco not only helped answer many questions before arrival (and booked an airport pickup and trip to Capri) but also went out of his way to assist us during our stay. And saving the best for last - the food. This was made with home grown fresh produce with a flare & passion that would rival the Michelin star restaurants close by. The early evening aperitif/tasting menu (on request) should not be missed. Bravo Mirco and family. Grazie mille x

Everything is good especially the breakfast food. It is a little bit far from the Sorrento and the port, so you have to have the bus timeline table and take SITA bus to go out and come back if you didn’t drive a car. They are still under construction for another rooms, swimming pool and parking area. Only open for summer time, not for winter.

RomaniaIt is not the case
First and foremost, this establishment is the area's only passive building, embracing a commitment to environmental sustainability. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a sense of tranquility and harmony that only a passive building can offer. The seamless integration of innovative design and eco-friendly practices made us feel like we were part of something truly special. Upon stepping inside, we were immediately captivated by the thoughtful and well-appointed amenities. The owners have spared no expense in ensuring that every guest feels pampered and cared for. From the organic bath products to the luxurious bedding, every detail was carefully selected to enhance our comfort and well-being. Speaking of the owners, their youthful energy and genuine passion for hospitality shone through in every interaction we had. They were incredibly attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their commitment to sustainability extended beyond the building itself; they proudly shared their dedication to living a sustainable lifestyle. We were impressed by their efforts to offer organic and locally sourced products, as well as their own garden where they grew fresh produce for their guests. Now, let's talk about breakfast. Prepare to have your taste buds dazzled and your senses awakened. Mirco, a culinary virtuoso, masterfully prepared our morning feast. It was not just a meal, but a true gastronomic experience. Every dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted with fresh, flavorful ingredients. We could taste the love and passion that went into every bite, and it set the tone for the rest of our day. In conclusion, our stay at this small accommodation near Sorento was an unforgettable experience.

SwitzerlandThe location is a bit far from the villages among Amalfi Coast. There is no parking in hotel yet, but they are planing to build one on the property next year.
Everything was great, lovely host, comfortable stay, very delicious food. It is a hotel run by family, whom the villa actually belongs to, and they take care of every little detail. We felt like home and will definitely come back again.

United StatesThere was honestly nothing I didn't like. Everything exceeded my expectations and I am very grateful to Mirco and his family for a lovely few days in Sant'Agata.
My stay at Nostos Casale was so lovely. The property, built recently, is beautifully designed with state-of-the-art sustainability measures put in place. My room was spacious, well-decorated, and stocked with all the necessities. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean. Aside from the stellar facilities, it was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts that really made my stay. Before arriving, Mirco helped me to arrange a private transfer from Naples airport to Sant'Agata and greeted me when I got there with a welcome drink and a bite to eat. The breakfast they prepared every morning for guests was fantastic with produce and fruit from their garden and freshly baked goods. It was also nice to meet the other guests and chat over breakfast. The premises was very relaxing with different areas to lounge and enjoy the view of the water beyond the hills. All in all, Nostos is a spectacular place to stay and I'm so happy that Sant'Agata was my first experience in southern Italy.
