Worst stay!! No soap, make you pay the sheets even though no one come without sheets. Who the hell come by plane with their sheets? Just to make more money this is a scam! On top of that we paid for the sheets and they were just put on the bed and we had to make the bed ourselves. COME ON ... You could have make the bed for us... Then no explanation on how the weird locker works to open the freaking entrance door... We came back ar night and discovered how it works ourselves... Disorganized! The road to come is shitty as well really overprice for what it is!!!

The location of the house is absolutely astonishing, since it is located in the middle of an olive garden. There is just this one building and no other around, which makes the stay as isolated and private as possible. The balcony/terrace is huge and perfect for viewing surrounding location.

The only thing which would be lovely to have is the AC. The house has a cooling device, but it can't really handle the heat of hot Sardinia's summer. Didn't bother us though.

The surroundings of the little house are stunning. Imposing mountain tops and olive orchards create a sight to behold. There is little light pollution there so in the night the stars are very well visible. Close to (car distance) S’Ulumu is a beautiful Cedrino lake and the beaches aren’t that far either. The house is in overall very good shape, clean, well equipped. The owner ensured that we wouldn’t have any problems with using the house amenities by giving us very detailed instructions.

We had to wait for the host at the gate for around 40 minutes to get our keys at noon, so it was pretty uncomfortable. Even though we agreed a specific time window (15 minutes) the day before. The internet connection is bad at the small house, to the point of not being usable at all. The phone signal isn’t any good either. There was no handsoap in the bathroom which was strange for us as we aren’t used to having to bring it with us. I don’t understand why the owner doesn’t include the city tax in the price of accommodation, as well as bedsheets. This marketing strategy doesn’t appeal much to me. The mosquito nets in the windows had holes so the mosquitos could get inside anyway.

Location location location, this property is all about the views and the solitude, the building itself is a little tired but you're booking this place for the location.

Poor communications, lack of a personal touch, there was no indication the owners were happy to host us or were ready for us and felt a little like we were an inconvenience. No fresh drinking water available and no warning we would need to bring any, an obvious good gesture would be at least provide a fresh bottle of water in the fridge, no amenities, provided (shockingly not even oil, bearing in mind it's in the middle of an olive grove)

Beautiful views, great location for exploring the region. The wood stove kept us nice and warm. Friendly owner. The pictures here are a bit misleading/confusing. The cute small house is a studio for 2p, and the 4-p apartment is the one with the big balcony, located above a garage with the tractor. It had the great views from the balcony. The WiFi works at the apartment, though only outside. Both houses are out of view from each-other.

Great location with beautiful views all around.

In winter time hard to really heat the place properly with only a fire-place and small electric heater.

Cozy little house on an olive farm, remote and truly private Has all the necessary kitchen appliances for cooking (but no olive oil)

    - There was no soap or shampoo. - It was cold at night and there are no blankets in the house. - There are lots of wasps around, which is fine, it's nature, but the mosquito net is full of holes, so they came into the house all the time. - "Renting" bed linen and towels for 10 EUR per person is strange, please include it in the price if it's important

    Property response:

We are not a hotel. We do not provide soap or shampoo. Linen is an extra service because not everyone wants it. Inside the closet there was the duvet in any case if you were cold you could turn on the heating! The mosquito net doesn’t have any holes it just tore .. it would have been enough to warn us we would have replaced it .. Maybe you have the wrong type of vacation Next time Read well what you are booking

Lovely, simplistic house in the middle of an orchard. Full privacy, good shower, functioning kitchen and airconditioning. A lot of hiking areas close by. Hike to Cala Fuili was amazing

The house is still quite warm at night (in june), so you need the airconditioning on. Luckily it has a silent function. The fridge makes some noise sometimes, which can be frustrating for light sleepers

The location and the apartment where beautiful! You stay between the olive trees between the mountains with a very nice view. In 10 minutes you drive to Dorgali where you can buy your groceries. Another 15 minutes later you drive to Calu Ganone, with beautiful beaches. Best stay you can have!

The communication with the staff was difficult, I couldn't see any messages the staff send me, and my text messages (sms) didn't come through ether.

The location makes you feel like you're on a ranch - surrounded by olive trees, vines and grazing sheep. An absolute freedom and peacefulness! We stayed in the main house but there are other smaller houses on the huge property - the closest one is around 0,5 km away, so we didn't see ar hear anything. Our apartment was recently renovated, so instead of the initial 1 bedroom and 1 living room we had 2 separate bedrooms which was great for our company of 2 couples. Good that there is a fireplace inside - when the weather turned cooler, the furnace quickly warmed up the house. The terrace is huge! On sunny days the floor and the walls absorb the warmth so that it's very pleasant to spend the evening on the terrace even if it's getting a bit chilly. And the views over the mountains are spectacular! The facilities are well equipped. You just need to bear in mind to notify the stuff about bed linen and towels - it costs additional 10 euros per person. Before traveling I read the reviews and some guests complained about the bumpy road. Now the 1 km long road from the property's entrance gate to the house was repaired and resurfaced, no problem to access it with any kind of car. A very good location - just 10 minutes drive to Doragli with shops etc., around 20 minutes to Cala Gonone with it's scenic attractions and 30 minutes to the start of the hiking trail to Gola di Gorropu. Oh, and there is a couple of partridges living nearby - we saw them two days in a row.

Before traveling check the weather forecast - if wind is forecast you'll feel it twice as strong on the property due to the terrain and open space. This is not a disadvantage of the accommodation, just be prepared. There is WiFi, but the signal is quite weak.

The house is completely in its own peace inside an olive tree grove. At night you can even see the Milkyway! It was perfect for us!

Hand soap would have been nice to have available.

This self catering unit built in the midst of an olive grove is perfectly set for 2 people (with our 2 dogs). A well equipped kitchen, perfectly functional bathroom ... and great hospitality... made for a perfect holiday near Dorgali.

Tranquility pure! Yet close to things to do and visit in the area. In the middle of an olive orchard, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The hosts are very nice and helpful.

That we could not stay longer this time. We will return, definitely! 🙂🤗🇦🇺

We chosed this place primarily based on its location in open nature. Arrived by night, we didn't see much of the scenery but how amazing when we discovered it in the morning. It's a nice place for a quiet and natural stay. The owner strives to be as eco-friendly as possible.

The access road is not paved and could be improved. Blankets are available for 10 € / person which is a bit expensive. The portable heater worked hard but was not sufficient to provide a cosy warmth. Probably due to an electrical failure, the boiler proved unable to ensure 2 showers. The owner keeps improving the premises and I'm quite confident this place will soon be a must.

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation at first, but afterwards we noticed certain details that we didn't like. For the price we paid in the accommodation, we probably expected a more pleasant service. The reservation said that if we wanted towels and sheets needed to be paid for, that was fine if the sheets were put on the mattress. We had to put the sheets on the mattress ourselves, and in doing so we noticed a lot of black hair and dirt, and it's not pleasant. It didn't bother us that there wasn't spice and soap, we like to buy the spice ourselves, but that they left us empty, dusty and old spice bottles, oils and soaps in the kitchen we didn't like either. We want to recommend to the owner that it would be really suitable to get air conditioning for the room, because one small window with mosquito nets is not enough for normal ventilation, not to mention ventilation while cooking. The fact that wasps have overgrown on the spot is a natural thing, so we couldn’t eat outside on lovely terrace, nevertheless eating and then sleeping in a overheated room is annoying. A small fan produced warm air rather than cool. We didn't sleep well moreover the old bed had a rotten grate. The surroundings around the cabin are nice and lovely to relax in, but the driveway could also be better managed. We didn't mind that it was a dirt road, but even dirt roads had to be kept in a drivable state at times. The staff was fine. We have seen better accommodation in this price category. This accommodation is suitable for undemanding travellers and outdoorsy people. Keep an eye on the foxes, and don't let them steal your shoes! :)
