How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had no negative experience
The apartment is in a very Good location, 20 minutes walk from the cathedral. Free parking facility in 5 minutes walk in a garage. Large, cosy, qiiet flat, very well equiped. Small terrace and garden. The host is absolutely friendly and helpful.

Excellent apartments within walking distance from the center. Three bathrooms are very convenient for a large family. Free parking near the apartment in the underground garage. A pleasant welcome delicious compliment from the owners.

Not a thing.
The pictures for this apartment are exactly what we encountered, which isn't always true. Large, clean, beautiful outdoor sitting area and terraces. One of the owners, Leonardo, met us on arrival. He showed us the apartment and greeted us with cake, wine, cookes...so appreciated after a long day of travel. If there was anything we needed, I simply sent a WhatsApp and our needs were quickly met. The location is perfect. 25 minute walk to the Duomo and historic areas such as museums and great restaurants and shopping. We walked everywhere easily. I would highly recommend this apartment and owner and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place just a few minute walk from all the things you want to see as a tourist. Also, 1 block from a grocery store, which is great for a longer stay. We were only there 1 night, but would’ve loved to have stayed for a week! Bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us, friendly host met us and explained things, welcome book with local suggestions, it was perfect and priced great! Would def do again!

This place was amazing. A bit of a hike - but EASY access to the best sites of Florence. Easy parking and a grocery store nearby. Our hosts even left a basket of goodies for our arrival.

It was a lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious apartment. The host was waiting for us even though we arrived a little earlier than expected. This was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. A really well stocked supermarket and places to eat nearby. Clean and organised neighbourhood as well.

Recently done up In modern chic aesthetic .. place was spic and span .. spacious with three full bathrooms and cozy outdoor area .. well equipped kitchen .. supermarket at stoned throw away … on top of that the amazing hosts .. Leonardo was always a call away .. for all our queries .. he even dropped us once at the last minute .. a strong recommendation for anyone who wants to have a home away from home ..

We travelled as a family of five including an infant. Leornado and Mattia were present to welcome us and show us the apartment with a bottle of wine, pie and biscuits! The apartment is centrally located, about 15mins walk to the Duomo. Mattia even helped with recommendations of resraurants and things to do. Overall a wonderful experience

Climbing of staircase after whole day of sightseeing. But it’s a small issue.
The property was spacious and served our needs. Rooms were very spacious and there were 3 toilets which is very time saving for us. Location was convenient with a big supermarket just 5 mins walk away. Mattia was very helpful in giving us valuable information before the check-in. Plus point about this property is the free parking with automated access. It was really quite difficult to find empty parking lots along the street.
