We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyThe apartment looks better in the photos than it does in reality. The host forgot to pay for the WiFi connection and so for two and half hours after I checked in there was no WiFi. Luckily the host has another apartment on the same floor and his friend was checking in guests so I alerted him to the problem. Around ten minutes after speaking to him the connection went back on. His friend pretended the reason was the router had to be turned off and on again which wasn't true as I tried that a couple of times and no internet company in Italy takes a 2.5 hour technical recess during peak hours on Sunday. I asked to check out at 13:00 instead of 12:00. The host refused (apartment is small. It doesn't't need 4 hours to be cleaned. Even 1 or at most 1.5 hour is sufficient). I asked if it was possible to leave two suitcases until 13:00 and that was also refused (there are 5 large plastic recycling bins inside the apartment. If two were taken out to the balcony for one hour my suitcases would fit there perfectly. I felt the host is not a customer orientated person which is why I cancelled my second booking for june as the air conditioner inside the apartment is at least 30 years old and probably noisy and non-effective.

EgyptIf you are not familiar with winter Italy - tiled floors stone walls no central heating 24/7 and, in most cases, no heated towel rack in the bathroom - you better be prepared. Key parts are flippers on THICK basement plus warm socks, then pijama, and to ask turn on heating at low level well before your arrival. Earplugs are always useful when you go for studio and/or AC heated apartments

Excellent apartment in Busto Arsizio, has everything you could need. The location is really convenient, close to restaurants, shops and the train station. The bed was comfortable and the air con crisp, which is exactly what is needed after a long day exploring in the sun. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.
