The location of this property is exceptional. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for 4 nights but no room services any day. I thought cleaning services was every three days. Room is nice but I wish it would have a bigger window. However, the common dining room area does. Train station is about 18-20 walking distance. It was a good place.

Location was great in the middle of the historic center, bed was comfortable. Hostess respond quickly. Coffee shop in the first floor was good and convenient. The area was very pretty, the breakfast was good. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice. There were some nice shops and restaurants close by. The closest beach was completely closed, which was disappointing. There were things to use like towels, bedding, and soaps. The tv wasn’t so easy to use or find English language shows on. It wasn’t easy to sleep there. The others in and around the building were noisy all thru the night. There was banging noises every night for some reason. Lights were left on in the shared areas even thru the night. I know this is true of a lot of apartment type rooms. We enjoyed our stay overall. It’s a very pretty place. The owner communicated and was nice.

Insufficient gradient and slow to drain shower cubicle. Flooded the bathroom and bedroom on first attempt. Used a rolled towel to help with door seal thereafter and improved but poor design. Odd use of corner shelving unit in bathroom next to toilet so limited knee space. This unit should be removed and replaced with shelving higher up.

Great central location. Good breakfast at adjacent cafe. Nice room.

2 of the sun loungers ( as in photos) were broken and only one could be sat on. This was a real shame as we would have all liked to sit and relax on the roof terrace, which had lovely views. Check in was ok but parking was very tricky and we often had to park quite a long way away.

Great location and room/ bathroom were very nice. Great to have cafe/restaurant directly below us for breakfast.

Our stay at Orazio was perfect. In the heart of Monopoli and close to everything. The self-check-in process was easy and our room was very spacious and comfy. The bathroom area was super charming and our favorite part of the room. The breakfast is served at the restaurant located right below the property and it was just the right amount of food to get your day started (and everything was very delicious - highly recommend the pistachio "Nutella" on the cornetto)

- Shower: there is no holder for the shower hose, which means you have to hold it while showering. It also ends up leaving the bathroom quite wet as there is no shower curtain.

Overall, our experience was super positive and we would definitely stay here again. Pros: - Unbeatable location: being in the historic center of Monopoli makes all the difference for the “vibe of the trip”. The place is really close to all the best restaurants, the port, and churches. The metro station is a 20-minute walk, but access is also easy. - Cleanliness: the apartment, all common areas, and bed linens are clean. - Quietness: this was the most positive point. Unlike some reviews mentioned here, even facing the main street, the apartment is completely silent due to the windows that totally isolate the sound. We slept well every night and did not hear noise from other rooms. - Decoration: the decoration is beautiful, even better than in the photos, which makes our experience much more charming. - Check-in and access to the building/room: access is done with a code on all doors, which greatly increases convenience. - Breakfast: breakfast operates through a voucher system, which entitles you to a coffee, an orange juice, and any other item from the menu at a café located below the B&B. We loved eating there every day and found the options much superior to the typical cornetto with coffee of the Italian breakfast. - Shared terrace: the B&B has a beautiful terrace with a view of the sea and the city. - General: both the main bed and the sofa bed are large and reasonably comfortable. The air conditioning and hairdryer also work well and the room has several available outlets. There is a safe available in the room and coffee and drinkable water in the shared kitchen.

The location in Monopoli is amazing, super convenient. The rooftop was a lovely bonus! The breakfast downstairs was delicious. Valeria the host was amazing with communication and made us feel so welcome :)

A bit hard to find the parking in Monopoli (house in the limited traffic zone). There were 4 flies in the room at the arrival.

Amazing location and beautiful terrace with the view on the seaside and the castle. Room is very spacious and comfortable with nice design. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the shared zone. Breakfast is served in the bar under the house, nice way to start a day :)

Lovely B&B in the centro storico of Monopoli, just one street away from the sea. We had a large room with a huge, comfortable bed. Italian breakfast was provided in the Café next door: great coffee and croissant (with pistacchio cream, nutella or marmelade). We asked the owner to preheat our room since we were traveling with a baby and they kindly did. We parked our car in the nearby streets where it was free. We could always find a free spot (in March)

Everything was great— the location, the spacious room and cleanliness were all excellent! Having water from the common kitchen was very nice. Entering by a code was also convenient. We unfortunately did not use the rooftop but it would be wonderful at sunset! The breakfast from the cafe was also great—-friendly staff and a variety of options!! I would definitely recommend it and stay here again! Don’t hesitate to book!

The big minus is the shower (it looks like a raw wall, probably painted with a special paint), it may look nice, but it was very dirty, you could see that mold was forming in some places there, the shower door seal was completely black with dirt, but the worst thing was the feeling when you stand in the shower and it becomes sticky under your feet (like stones in a lake, they get covered with something). In my opinion, these types of showers need special cleaning and sanitizing very often. The decorative bamboo in the bathroom had a 1 cm layer of dust on it. There are no hangers for towels in the bathroom next to the shower, and there is no shelf for cosmetics in the shower. These are small disadvantages that can be eliminated. There is no electric kettle in the kitchen, there was a pot in which you could boil water, but it was inconvenient to pour into a cup - you could easily get burned. I recommend equipping the kitchen with an electric kettle to prepare tea, because not everyone drinks coffee. There was a cockroach in the kitchen in the common area at night. I understand that they happen in this part of the world, but it was not a pleasant encounter.

The apartment is in a great location, beautifully decorated, with attention to details. The place looks like this: there are 3 rooms - bedrooms with bathrooms, and the kitchen and a large table are in the common area. A huge advantage is breakfast included in the price - you get a voucher for breakfast in the cafe located downstairs - you can choose what you want to drink and eat from the menu. The quality of the meals is very high. On the roof of the building there is a large terrace with a great view. Very good contact with the host, all instructions are very clear, the host speaks English. The apartment is located in a closed-to-traffic zone, so you can't park nearby, but this is mentioned in the description.

We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect and a great spot for getting round monopoli easily. The host was so helpful and even managed to save us from missing our flight when our train was cancelled by booking us a last minute taxi. Can’t recommend staying here enough. We will be back!
