Staff was really friendly and understanding - even for an order of tiramisu at 0900 for coffee. Dinner was fantastic, and the chef clearly knows their stuff. Reception was friendly and welcoming.

This is a wonderful historical building located in an interesting part of Italy. Ostaria Vecjo Friul is conveniently located at a comfortable distance from many interesting places like Palmanova and Aquileia, Trieste and Udine. A great location for people travelling by car with on-site parking. The hosts are amazing people. Dedicated, relaxed and extremely patient. Food and hospitality are excellent and the breakfast was very generous. Thanks!

Consider closing the window at the night, because centralised air compressor might be a bit loud, and there is nothing to do with it

We liked everything!

We had a very nice overnight stay at Ostarie Vecjo Friul 1901. The owner, Iacopo, was very welcoming and friendly. The well appointed and clean rooms are in the beautifully restored building at the rear of the Osterie, overlooking the quiet courtyard where there is a secure car park. Breakfast was very good with delicious local produce and an excellent cappuccino! We are looking forward to visiting again when the restaurant is open.

An absolute jewel 👌. The rooms were very clean and modern, the lady at the reception and the cook were exceptional. We stayed for two days, and the service was spot on that other family members left their hotels to check in on this one. Highly recommend - it's rare to find a great hotel with great service. We couldn't regulate the air conditioner so at some point in the night we were too hot.

Really comfortable room with AC, clean and well soundproofed from any noise of close street outside of the property. In the cosy courtyard you eat breakfast and in the evening you can book a table for dinner. The food was excellent, fresh and breakfast was not a typical Italian, but you have some scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, vegetables. We recommend to eat the dinner as the dishes were delicious and really non typical. You will love it. All in all property strongly recommended!

Great staff, very kind, no problem whatsover with the fact that we brought a dog with us to the hotel. The dinner was also a great experience, tasty local food and wine. Great breakfast as well. Will return to the location surely.
