Didn't expect a good amount of steps to reach the ostello, but it was not a problem.

The Dagli Elfi was nestled in between all of the beautiful stone buildings and Antoni our host was terrific. It is a very small town but quite beautiful. April is just too early to have all restaurants open so that was a bit disappointing but the we were really impressed and I’ll be back at some point in August. The wildlife and snow capped mountains were spectacular

The apartment was very tidy and rooms and linens were very clean. There were beautiful views and the rooms were located in a very quiet and picturesque part of town. Common areas were nice and cozy. Breakfast had good variety and staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive..

The room lacks several little things which would facilitate a lot the stay, such as a mirror, a little fridge (like a minibar), a bigger bin and removable shower hose.

The little village of Barea is beautiful. The host made us feel so welcome and whatsapped us to let us know he was on hand if we needed anything. The views from the hotel are stunning. They also served great coffee and croissants in the morning.

It's a bit difficult to find a place to eat open in the Barrea area in the evening. We had to go to another village.

The view is amazing, the room big and comfortable, everything is clean and tidy.

Contrary to description, the breakfast is very limited. Choice of cereal, prepackaged toast, cold pancakes/waffles, and glazed/filled croissant wears thin very quickly. No fruit, nothing fresh/hot. The dining room is only open for said limited breakfast for two hours, again, contrary to reviews/description, there is no dinner served. Lastly, check in was very impersonal. Never met the owners, was told to download Whatsapp to communicate while we were waiting to get in at the front door as we never received the door code ahead of time. Keys to the rooms are really difficult to use, believe it or not. English is not well spoken, and while not a problem, should not be listed on this listing.

Great location with a gorgeous view from the dining room (or the room with the balcony). Very clean. Daniella is spectacular.

Some fruit for breakfast would have been appreciated.

This hostel/B&B was in the centro storico. The breakfast was really good Italian style breakfast. The lady serving breakfast gave us great info for a walk we wanted to do the next day. They are teamed up with a really nice restaurant in the Centro storico.

The quality of the room was very disappointing for the price paid. (We have been travelling in Italy for a month and have stayed in many places.) The room was very basic and in need of renovation. This could be acceptable if it was cheaper. Did not see any staff until the morning. Wifi did not work.

Great location in an old building near the centre of the attractive village. Great views from the breakfast room. Breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but OK.

Bathroom is outside the room (as specified when you book but still not ideal). Mattresses aren’t that comfy but OK for the price range. The hotel is very noisy as dividing walls are thin and stairs are in wood and steel. When someone walks or talk in the room next door you can hear/feel everything.

The location and views are outstanding from both the terrace we had and the breakfast room alike. In winter this place should be magical!

The view from our room balcony was exceptional and the room itself was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good as well! Would definitely recommend!

The bathroom..the sink was cracked and the water came out with very low pressure. There wasn't a shower mat. I found the cost for one night a little too expensive (but I get that it's high season).

The position in the center of Barrea and the size of the room. The staff at breakfast was very kind and friendly and the self check-in was very easy.
