The lack of an efficient fan or air con considering is 5 people in a room with only a little fan to refresh the space

Trully nothing, it's a perfect coin from where you can visit Ravenna.

Very quiet, friendly staff, very good breakfast with many options and delicious coffee. Big room with comfortable bed, perfect air conditioning, everything was clean. The staff gave us useful information about good eateries with pizza and others. The atmosphere of the ancient convent was impressive !

The hotel is beautiful building, well maintained, very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had had previous communication from them to advise about an event taking place during our stay, which was appreciated. The breakfast buffet was varied with plenty of food and local products to try. We would happily go back and stay there!

An amazing and very authentic stay in the heart of the city close to the charming Piazza Nuova with its restaurants. A collaboration of a designer and architect as charming hosts transforming the historic monastery with modern and well thought through interventions to a marvelous experience. The design rooms have their individual themes which make it interesting to return many times.

There was a lack of vegetables for breakfast. It was really warm - there was no air conditioning in our apartment, only a fan, which is just not enough in hot July. There were no cups in the room. However, the staff were very helpful - they lent us two for the whole stay.

We were happy to be here. The hotel as a whole was very nice and cozy. The accommodation was simple but clean. There were five of us in the room and it was close to Ravenna. There's not much to see in Bagnacavallo, but the mere fact that you're in a former monastery is romantic, interesting. Breakfast was great and the staff is actually very nice and young!

You need to make sure that you booked the right room since there are rooms for groups. The price are too high!

Super nice staff. Make every day feel comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was amazing. We had some issues with the room but they solved it super quick and easy so we didn't have to worry about anything. Highly recommend. Peaceful area, quiet and nice.

Perfect place to stay close to Ravenna. Incredibly helpful and nice staff that explained everything and introduced the history of the building, we got breakfast free of charge (absolutely delicious with local products, gluten free and vegan options). Each room is named and styled after one of the plants in the convent's garden. The convent also serves as a cultural center so if you speak Italian, you can even listen to a literary reading, or some music, in the yard. Bagnacavallo is charming and a short drive to both Ravenna and the beaches. Much recommended!

Nothing to mention here, really.

The building is monumental, the staff is exceptionally attentive and helpful. There is a wide range of possibilities for activities in the hall, a heaven for children with a Vespa and a piano included. Our room was simple, nice and clean, suitable for a family with many children. The breakfast was rich and delicious. There is a patio surranded by the building. Our children had so much fun running around there. The whole atmosphere is so friendly and peaceful. I wish we could have extended our staying.

The only thing that did a dent on our experience was the fact that we received a message from the hotel less than one day before our stay that they will be throwing an event at the hotel grounds and that the event would continue until the night. The time from about 23:00 to 00:00 was like being in a night club. I completely understand that the cloister grounds is an excellent space for different kinds of events but if you come to search for a "cloister-like" peace and quiet, do make sure that there are no similar events during your stay. We were indeed looking for the "silence" of the cloister but did not unfortunately receive it. Otherwise, there were no complaints regarding the hotel at all.

The room, breakfast, the surroundings and the staff very extraordinary. The cloister grounds really did give a feeling of historicity and a certain kind of calmness.
