Everything was perfect (no complaints!) but it is important to note that there are many stairs to get to the room.

It was very spacious, nicely appointed, and clean. The palacio was beautiful and very quiet (despite being in the heart of a very active area). The location was perfect (great restaurants nearby). Breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful! We appreciated the mini bar and coffee too!!

Stunning historical palazzo placed right in the centre of all attractions, restaurants and entertainment yet the property is shielded by the outside street sounds of Napoli by its double glazed windows giving you a peaceful and private oasis. The rooms are large, the property is decorated with a fine attention to detail with historical and modern pieces curated from around the globe in the finest taste. Everywhere you look your senses are entertained. It’s a stunningly beautiful comfortable accommodation.

Only issue we had was it took a while to find it…despite a very friendly security guard we went up two staircases and rang on wrong doors before finding the right one. Perhaps a small sign on the ground floor would help.

What an amazing house! And a wonderful room - 5 star opulence, huge, clean and well appointed with a lovely blend of antiques and modernity. In an oasis of calm in a mad and gritty city. Very friendly host (albeit language barrier meant most communication in sign language).

First of all, the location is perfect. Most of the important places can be reached on foot. There are many cafes and restaurants near the accommodation. On the other hand, the place is very relaxed. The cleanliness is at a high level. The communication with the host Gianluigi was perfect. The whole house is wonderful and beautiful. The breakfast is perfect. If we ever go to Napoli again our choice will be Palazzo Carafa Santangelo.

This was my second visit to Palazzo Carafa Santangelo. I'll be there again in a couple of weeks... and whenever else I am in Napoli. It is a standard of excellence.

What a great place! The location is awesome on one of the best streets in the center of Naples. The building is authentic and very old but the room is completely renovated and updated with beautiful tile, furniture, a new AC and heat pump , great bed. It’s pretty large for a studio, both the room and bathroom. Very cool old small outside gate door to get inside property and two other doors to get into the apartment so it’s very safe. It’s right in the heart of the historic center on a busy walking street with tons of restaurants, cafes, stores and shopping. Even though it’s a busy area the room was very quiet inside. Luis was very nice and both he and hosts were always available and checking in with me via WhatsApp. Highly recommend this authentic stay!

The breakfast was amazing and staff was very helpful but owners were so kind and very helpfull. Staying in this Palazzo was like a VIP treatment. The location is great . Allthough crowded outside the inside of Palazzo was very quiet. We stayed there for business purpose and we will continue to stay there definetely. The area was closed for traffic but 150 meters there is a taxi station. thank again for great stay

We particularly liked the character of the Palazzo, staying in a superb apartment. The bed was very large, comfortable and was a proper large mattress and not the common two single mattresses put together with the inevitable gap in the middle. The pillows were feather and not the customary plastic. Breakfast was personal service - we were the only ones there. If you want an very individual and sophisticated apartment, this is the place to stay. We took a video to share with our friends!

Palazzo Carafa Santangelo is elegantly furnished, immaculately clean, and very comfortable in every way. Luis the caretaker is conscientious and friendly, insuring that everything is maintained to the higest standard. I have already booked another visit.

The description was not accurate in several respects: It states "1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 bathroom" but it is a bedroom with a living area - big and beautiful, but not 2 separate rooms. Also states "accommodation with a terrace" and "a bar can be found on site" but these facilities are in the host's private apartment next door to the room let and we were told not available for us to use. The only access to the host's apartment is in the morning, at a pre-arranged time, for breakast. Disappointing as a terrace was one of the filters I used to book, only to find we couldn't use it. We didn't realise there was no housekeeping - this is an extra cost, although as we booked for 9 days we were given one free bed/linen change and clean. Need the lights on as it gets little natural light, looking on to a side alley wall.

The room is large and beautifully furnished, with a large bathroom, big, comfortable bed, good shower and good wifi. It's in an old palazzo in a very busy and convenient central area, but when the windows are shut it cuts out the noise. It's well equipped with fridge, coffee machine, ironing board, hairdryer, robes, slippers. Bottled water was provided.

Breakfast was variable, some days disappointing but improved on day 2.

The room was lovely, location amazing! Our fridge broke but was fixed within a couple of days.
