Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIncredible historic building in a perfect location. Enrico could not have been more helpful - full of tips and knowledge of Naples, as well as helping us with luggage and a late check in when our flight was delayed. We loved the room, and the terrace. A great find and excellent value for money.

United KingdomThe building, suite and staff were fabulous but the breakfast wasn’t very good, the rooftop location was amazing but the food was very limited.
Historic property with fabulous Ripley vibes. Very central and the staff member pointed out somewhere close to enjoying a delicious pizza. A memorable night

United KingdomCleaning could be improved our rubbish wasn't taken away during 3 night stay. The terrace is a great addition .. would benefit from comfortable cushions on sofa chairs/new furniture.
We loved the central location, the building is an amazing historical place to stay. Enrico was a warm hospitable host who gave us lots of info about the palazzo and recommendations in Naples .. he also makes great coffee at breakfast. Breakfast is simple, we enjoyed the fresh pastries sweet and savoury, cheese, cold meat, fruit etc. Balcony in our room was tiny however we had the terrace off our room pretty much to ourselves during our stay. Overall great stay for what we paid and would recommend.

Excellent location right in the middle of everything and very close to Dante metro. Enrico gave advice on where to visit and where to eat along with a map for directions. Breakfast served on the terrace with fantastic views. Spaccanopili is literally on the doorstep, so walk around the corner, and you are on it. Pizzas are fantastic but then again you are in the home of the pizza. Naples is a very big city so public transport is required to get to places. Visited many places in Naples and also done a day trip to Sorrento. Try the Lemoncillo spritz in local bars while in Sorrento, you will not be disappointed.

United StatesNothing we didn’t enjoy.
This amazing place was perfectly located for everything we wanted to see and do. The room was amazing with marble floors and when you shut the balcony door it was so quiet from the outside traffic. The “little” door entrance in the evening was a fun experience also. We felt very safe coming and going. Staff was very responsive and helped us navigate to the sites in the area. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

United StatesBeautiful historic building. The room we selected unfortunately faced the street. Windows and shutters were good but couldn’t block out all the noise from the hustle and bustle of this very busy city. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Bed very comfortable. Room enormous with 1 1/2 bathrooms and a small dining room. Excellent Wi-Fi.

Incredible historic building and our room was spacious, clean and had a modern bathroom too. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. We highly recommend the terrace too, which has a great view of Napoli. A little rumble from the underground but this didn’t disturb us and is to be expected with the location. Would recommend to everyone- we relocated here after a poor experience elsewhere and were delighted with our decision.

PolandThe floors could be cleaner, plus the refrigerator didn’t work. An electric kettle plus some coffee/tea amenities, as well as ironing board/iron would be a great asset. Keep in mind, the breakfast is included, but it’s an Italian breakfast, so expect pastry (exceptionally fresh & delicious!) and coffee plus juice, rather than a buffet.
Exceptional. We couldn’t imagine a better location, plus we got upgraded to the biggest suite which was just jaw-dropping. White marble floors and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Via Toledo were just a highlight of our stay. Everyday housekeeping service left our room super tidy with fresh, fluffy towels daily. Enrico was the kindest and most helpful host you could ask for. He made sure every question was answered and offered a lot of local tips. We were welcome to check in before noon which saved us a lot of stress. Thank you for making our first visit to Naples unforgettable!

This was such a find, we were so happy with our stay here! It is in a really good central location and from the roof terrace we could overlook the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was quiet and clean - a bit quirky, there was a section that was like a museum! Breakfast was fab, and our host couldn't do enough to advise us on where to go and what to do.
