The old reviews mention breakfast on a terrace but this seems to be no longer the case. We only received breakfast vouchers for the first day and not the second. The room is a little small so difficult to store suitcases.

The beds were a bit firm for our taste, although we encountered this at several hotels in Italy—adding a thicker mattress pad or feather bed would go a long way—and squeaky. An in-room Nespresso machine would also be a welcome addition; the café for the breakfast voucher is a 5-minute walk through windy Old Town streets and a little caffeine would have helped us find it more easily, especially on the first morning :)

The location is perfect, and communication with our agency contact was super easy—she recommended a lot of great restaurants and cafés for us, as well as arranging a secure place for us to park overnight (it was an additional 25E per night). Everyone in Puglia is so welcoming and kind! Room was chicly decorated and very clean (and restocked regularly with so many towels!). We also loved the café where we had breakfast every morning with the vouchers. Bonus points for having an actually powerful hair dryer in the bathroom.

Our air conditioner was not cooling and they immediately moved us to a new room and bought us a great fan to make us feel comfortable. Another issue we had was the overnight parking because it’s always busy and we had to wait in the closest parking lot to get a vacant spot and it was very costly.

Location excellent, comfortable room, window didn’t close properly. Owner responsive. Unusual taps in shower that look like normal taps but they tilt and turn ! Eventually figured it out. No coffee making facilities but cafes nearby. Stairs could be a problem, we were on 3rd floor but overall a good stay

Room smelled a bit damp throughout our stay and we couldn’t connect the TV to wifi so we could watch netflix.

Our room was very nice and clean. Beds and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The best part was the location in old town, with lots of parking near by. I liked the underground feel of our unit. Shower was great too - hot and powerful.

The fridge in our room was not working well, couldn’t get the water and other drinks etc cold, and the air conditioning wasn’t very effective either, so we found it very warm at night as the rooms are quite small also, based on those factors we felt it was a little overpriced.

Perfect location with the old town, Andrea was extremely helpful and accomodating, good communications etc prior to arrival, arranging parking for our car, bringing the car to us the morning we left and helping with our luggage, and getting up early the morning we left to give us breakfast, this was all very much appreciated.

The breakfast served on the terrace was wonderful and the location of this B&B was excellent , very quiet and close to everything and in the old part of beautiful Monopoli. The host was very good at communicating with us . We would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about

We loved our stay at Palazzo Fiscaiolo. The location couldn’t be better — right in the old town and just a few steps from the beach — yet the alley is quiet, so we slept really well. The room was lovely and full of character, and the rooftop terrace with views of the cathedral and the sea was simply unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Just a heads-up: the closest beach was closed when I visited, so I had to walk about 25–30 minutes to get to the more beautiful calette for me, Tre bucchi was totally worth it. There aren’t many taxis available in the area, so be ready to explore on foot!

I loved the place, beautifully kept, very clean, and super well located, right in the heart of the historic center. My room was cozy and comfortable, and the whole building had a calm, welcoming vibe. Marcella was amazing from the start. She made me feel safe and at ease right away. She gave me clear instructions, was always available when I needed something, and helped with everything. She was kind, responsive, and genuinely warm. her presence really made a difference.

Room was tiny, as was the bathroom. Only one very small window in the room. So the room was very dark. Over a 5-day stay, the room was cleaned only once, after the first night. If they are to clean it only once, they should do it in the middle of the stay. There is no reception so check-in is by appointment. As a result of no reception, if you have any question you'd better ask them when you get the keys. We hgad a couple of questions and as we found out later, both answers were incorrect.

DO NOT book this unless you have What'sApp. All communication and checking in and out are via this. And they don't communicate very well. For instance, for weeks we asked for the address and phone of a parking lot. No answer. But they when we got there, they seemed to indicate that it was out fault we hadn't made parking reservations. You will not see a human being from beginning to end. You will get no help with luggage up the stairs. Wi-fi was terrible on both their channels. We mentioned this, and they sent us to another one that worked. Breakfast is at a local cafe. They said they left cards for this in the room, but they hadn't. But they sent something we could show via What's App. This is a beach town, and though there are places to hang towels, there is no place to hang wet suits, etc. The place came with the sand already on the floor.

Tiny room but beautifully-designed in the use of the space so it didn't feel cramped. "Palazzo" seems to be broadly applied here. Plenty of outlets so everything could be charged. There's a bathroom scale in the room.

Palazzo Fiscailo was an awesome place to stay for my family in Monopoli. It is perfectly situated in the historic old town and very comfortable, spacious, clean, and charming. My family booked all 3 rooms so we had the run of the place and it was fantastic. We especially loved having access to the roof deck where we had an Aperol spritz at sunset overlooking the gorgeous views. Marcello, the host, was fantastic and always responsive to every question I had during our stay. He gave me his cell and I could text him for advice re: where to eat, shop, go cliff-jumping, etc and he was wonderful with quick responses. He also helped us set up to have our rooftop drinks and really cared about ensuring we enjoyed every minute of our stay. I would recommend Palazzo Fiscailo to anyone who wants to enjoy gorgeous Monopoli!
