We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenMoist and even wet sheets in the beds. The bed sofas were not comfortable. Wifi did not work. No ventilation in the rooms, not even in the bathroom/shower, only windows directly to the streets to open.
Very beautiful and friendly village with a lot of nature close by. Spacious rooms.

SwitzerlandThe messages from the iCasamia.IT were somewhat confusing. The message gave a list of payment options which were not on the Booking.com site, one of these was a bank account in Lithuania, so it appeared suspect at first glance. The payment options of cash or credit card were not mentioned. When I asked they said they did not accept credit card! A call to Booking.com confirmed we could pay cash or with CC, we paid cash in the end, giving it to the cleaning lady on arrival. The village is quiet with no traffic but inside the courtyard of the apartment you hear every conversation inn the house and the clean on the Sunday afternoon in the other apartments was also noisy, so its not really quiet.

LatviaI really loved the design and clean tasteful apartment - all well made. Building itself is a jewel, everything renovated and made as a boutique hotel - high class. I would come back here to enjoy it once more, I had a great time in a yard and wellness Center and also enjoyed walks in this medieval authentic Italian city.

NetherlandsNo parking at the property and the drive to get there is not recommended for big cars as the roads in the village are very narrow. But parking at the village various public parking places is very easy and close to the building, so it wasn't really an issue for us.
Amazing building with beautiful appartment. We were upgraded to the penthouse which has a gorgeous terrace overlooking the village and the hills. Good communication with host through whatsapp and keys were easily retreived from the lockbox. Everything was wonderful. Very quiet beautiful little village, peaceful surroundings and a luxurious, grand appartment that's breathing history.

SpainWe booked the hotel for two adults and three children. Before we arrived, they told us that they had upgraded us to another apartment. When we arrived, only two beds were made, one of them broke when we sat on it. The next morning we wanted to have breakfast but it‘s only available if you reserve (which they do not tell you when you book or communicate with them). So we asked to get our original apartment that we had booked as it has two rooms and we wanted to have privacy but the houseman told us that in that room the heating (which is a pellet heating stove) was broken, so turns put the upgrade was no upgrade but a way to not give us the apartment. Finally after a lot of back and forth they moved us to another apartment with two rooms which was ok but then the stove stopped in the middle of the night and we woke up in a cold apartment the next day. On top of this, our child was very sick so we wanted to leave the place. When we asked for a partial refund, they did not accept but gave us one free breakfast instead. There is no reception, only communication via whatsapp. We found it not a customer / family friendly accommodation. I did not want to get any reimbursement but I think as a host you should not force somebody to stay if they want to leave if the accommodation does not meet their expectations.

Germany- kitchen could be better equipped - water pressure in the shower is insufficient - a hook fell off in the bathroom - the potential of the building is enormous and not fully utilised unfortunately - I had to pay via bank transfer because their card system wasn’t working apparently
