Big spacious property in the middle of Gallipoli. Lovely big comfortable beds. Breakfast was also really good and you certainly wouldn’t leave hungry. Scott is a great host and goes out of his way to help you with anything you might need.

The location was just a couple of hundred metres from the lovely beach. Communication with the hosts was very detailed and helpful. The apartment was stunning - larger than my own house! Our apartment (Blu) had a private terrace which we used to relax on after a busy day. Breakfast was lovely. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to friends/family.

Everything was great !

Everything! Palazzo Salapolis is located on a quiet street near the Main Street and 5 minutes from the beach . We had a beautiful 2 bedroom /2 bathroom apartment with terrace ! There were high vaulted ceilings and the decor was beautiful . Great attention to detail and comfort has been paid with high quality bedding , towels , crockery etc. Air -con was very good also . All staff were friendly and helpful . Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace upstairs . Many thanks to Scott who was available in person or by phone to assist/advise with everything from restaurants , shopping , beaches and taxis. We had a lovely 7 day stay !

The best experience in Gallipoli! Scott is an amazing host, very helpful and a great source of information about the region. The rooms are spacious and outfitted with all necessary facilities that you need during your stay. I would certainly recommend Palazzo Salapolis to any traveller heading to Gallipoli!

Cute little apartment in the perfect spot. You’ll feel like a local. Scott is a great host. He offers great advice and will help you book things like reservations or cabs with ease. Breakfast on the terrace is lovely. We had a nice time!

The property is split into the main Palazzo building and then a separate ‘dependence’ which is away from the main building. This could be made clearer on the description.

The location is excellent in the middle of the old town, the building and its decor are stunning. The staff are all friendly, the rooms excellent and breakfast good. A lot of attention to detail has been given to all aspects of the property, the service, the rooms to make you have an amazing stay. We loved it here and would definitely love to return.

Everything. The pictures do not do it justice. I have stayed in plenty of other places earlier this trip and since. Most of the time I have been disappointed on arrival but in this case, I was pleasantly stunned. We stayed in Scott’s 3 bedroom (currently listed as 2) and absolutely loved it. Beautifully decorated and exquisite attention to detail. excellent air-conditioning during the hot July heat. Central to all activities. Scott also got as reservations at a fantastic restaurant overlooking the seas.

Palazzo Salapolis is that rare, wonderful find when you are booking a trip without knowledge of the area. Scott is a SUPERHOST. A great communicator, super friendly and incredibly helpful with information and insights about Gallipoli and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. There is unique art everywhere and the spaces are so well curated. We stayed in Madrepora Blu, a well equipped unit, with our family of 5 adults and we had plenty of space, comfortable beds, a private rooftop terrace, two beautiful bathrooms and air conditioning too! They even include a lovely breakfast on their terrace every morning. I cannot overstate the charm and appeal of this hotel and the center of Gallipolli is literally right outside your door. Thank you for making our first stay in Gallipolli such a remarkable and memorable one! Palazzo Salapolis is a total gem. I cannot recommend highly enough!

If you’re traveling by car, you have to be aware, that it is very difficult to find a parking spot and from the parking you have to walk with all the luggage for about 10 minutes to the B&B.

Palazzo Salapolis is a very unique B&B located in the middle of the old town. The building - a typically Italien Palazzo is very charming an Scott, the American owner and host is trying to give his best to satisfy his guest.

The only downside is that it isn’t child friendly so I can take my young kids next time I visit!

The property was located in the picturesque old town. Set back from the main road that circulates around Gallipoli it was close to the old town beaches, restaurants and shops. It also meant it was quiet, peaceful and secluded. The property itself was clean and functional but with a quirky interior design. The kitchen had lovely stone worktops which had a lovely luxurious feel.
