How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewBoutique hotel with only a few rooms, each with a different theme. Bathroom had a steam function, loved its style! Close to many restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and 10 minute walk to the lake and the lferry rental office. Fifteen good minutes to train station reached up a set of three twenty-step tiered stairway.
It was a little hard to find, mainly due to my Apple Maps which misguided me for some unusual reason. Also we could not locate a grocery store n walking around or in Maps

Verified review-Location was perfect; just in front of Duomo in the very centre. -Staff was very helpful, they helped us regarding the boat times and made suggestions for restaurants. Also the room was ready with the baby crib, before promised hour which was helpful as we had our 1 year old baby with us. -The room was nice with out of the box decoration. -Size of the room was more than regular.
-When you use the word "luxury" I would expect more than just a nespresso machine and a fancy decoration. For the starters bathrobe, quality shampoos/soaps are essential which you can find even in basic hotels. In addition even though there was enough space there was no decent wardrobe and just open shelves which can get dusty. -There was no hanger for the body towels. -Even though the room was clean in general obviously they do not take dust of the walls as you can see in the photos. -There is a glass on the side between toilette and the room (unless there is a way to close it which I could not find) which is not very convenient, especially for such a "luxury", romantic room. -All in all even though it was a nice room/facility I do not think it deserves the name luxury and the value. We stayed in "broadway" room with street view (there was not much a view actually) thus I do not know the additional 40-50 EUR for the rooms with Duomo view is worth but for the next time I would spare the additional budget on the room price of EUR 235 for something else.

Not having the Catering service in the structure we have opted for a satisfactory and simple method to satisfy the customer. Regarding the bathrobes and shampoos they are still high-end items that our supplier provides us. Regarding the open shelves they were designed by our art director in this way to make the room more spacious and livable, the same thing for the glass in the bathroom - to make the environment more open. The building is located in an area of the city built in 1500. They are the spaces that the architects of the time had foreseen. We will be happy to have you as our guest again. The explanation of where to park your car for check-in, no parking. There is no privacy in the bathroom, there is no way to cover the bathroom glass.
Dear Bandar, Thank you for highlighting the location of our property in the most central square of the city, since the building is in the cathedral square, it is not allowed to enter by car as the area is completely and exclusively pedestrian. For this reason, it is mandatory to park the car in the parking lot located in Viale Lecco which is a 5 minute walk from the property. The bathrooms were architecturally created by our choreographer/architect and that the shower does not directly overlook the room and that privacy films have been applied. Como Luxury Suites
