How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Palladio is a nice hotel located outside the tourist area. If you want to look at the city away from the tourist attractions this might be a reasonable option. 30 min walking from Duomo or underground plus tram close to the doors.

Everything was good in the hotel, clean, quiet, only the bathrooms need renovation, the tiles are dirty and have black grout.

The pillow wasn't comfortable, and I couldn't sleep well, the AC wasn't working well, the first day I asked for not having room service and there wasn't any sign I can hang it on the door but after I came back I found many things have been changed in the room, I asked again then they paid attention and no room service came again. Good neighborhood. Location is far from the center, but transportations are available, 10 minutes walking to the metro station, and 5 minutes to the tram.
The room was good and very clean, there was a coffee machine, a small fridge, and TV screen.

They don't have breakfast, although there are cafes nearby which makes up for it.z
Close to the metro station and attractions like Puerta Romana. Restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff were attentive.

Amazing staff, even if some didn't know english they found solutions. Room is cozy and bathroom was good. Very great price!

The toilet is rather small specially the shower.

The location of the room was such that it faced a set of apartments directly opposite owing to which privacy was a bit of an issue but generally speaking it wasn't too much of a bother.
The hotel is located at a convenient location & the room itself was very clean, quite spacious & maintained well. The reception lady was extremely friendly & helpful. The connectivity of the hotel & proximity to conveyance options is also very good.

Shower was poor, think the head needed replacing - still usable though.
Great location, close to tram/metro. Really comfortable bed. Clean and tidy rooms.

Don’t let the star rating put you off. European cities are very expensive, especially hotels - Hotel Palladio for less than £80 gives you a comfortable room very close to centre Milan via the tram. The receptionist didn’t speak English (not that I’d expect her too) and she was so kind, translating everything I needed to know. The shower had a good pressure and I’d certainly stay there again when back in Milan.

nothing I could remember
Great hotel, in quiet part of Milano, very nice, classy, with friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice, big, very clean, with comfort bathroom, with TV, fridge, safe... little coffee machine, everything you could need as tourist. Hotel is five minutes by foot from nearest metro station (M3, Porta Romana), and M3 is directly connected with Central Train Station in Milano. Hotel is also less than 30 minutes far from Duomo, by foot, or 15 minutes from Navigli (Milano river/channels - place of evening and night life). Also, Via Bligny is street with enormous number of different restaurants where you can find whatever you want. Anyway, hotel Palladio is worth every euro you pay for it.

Because it is an old building sound isolation is not ideal.
Great location, beautiful old buillding very pleasant room with big window and balcony, all equipment functional.

The mattress was rather soft to my liking.
One star underestimates this nice and well-preserved hotel. Located in a central area, yet it's quiet at night.
