How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The noise of cars was heard in the room, we had to close the windows

The location is really close to the beach. Stuff is really nice and friendly, and if you need help, always there to help. Rooms are small but functional. It's an old hotel but they keep it nice and tidy. Really liked it. 15-20minis walk to city center.

There was no parking on premises available We were told there was but not able to reserve. Do we didn't reserve. When we got there they said we should have reserved.

The bed comfort was just ok. There was a lot of noise outside all night. We kept our windows open so maybe that was our fault. The shower was tiny, but we are tall both over 1.80 so it was hard to bend over.
We used the hotel for a quick overnight stay for one night. The breakfast was very good with a big selection of sweet and salty options. The rooms were very clean. There was a new AC system in the room but we didn’t use it. There was a fridge in the room that we could use with a few complementary drink.

We had 2 small beds pushed together. Unfortunately my half was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress.
Helpful friendly staff. Parking opposite hotel. Clean. small outside balcony. Good WiFi. Very good breakfast.

The only thing I personally had a problem with was pillows and hairdryer. But most hotels have similar - to flat pillows and too weak hairdryer. But bed were very comfy and everything was perfect

The bathroom was a little small. The bed was not very comfortable, these days we are used to memory mattresses and the bed had springs. We only stayed one night but I think more nights would have been a challenge
Staff very friendly. The breakfast was good and the waitresses in the breakfast room were happy and efficient Shower was good. Everything very clean. Plenty of on street parking nearby

A charming little hotel in a small seaside town. The location is perfect - a short walk through the beautiful umbrella pines and sand dunes to the long sandy beach. We also really appreciated the on-site parking. However, the most striking thing about the hotel is the outstanding customer service at the front desk. The receptionists went out of her way to help with excellent restaurant recommendations and to help me store medication and Ice packs in the hotel’s fridge/freezer. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such friendly efficient and helpful hotel staff.

there is no sound insulation between the rooms, you have the feeling that the guests from the next room are in the same room as you. there was a youth next to us during our stay who did not sleep all night, as a result we were also awake. At 6:00 a.m. other foreign guests entered our room with the key they had received at the reception. how is this possible? the room has not been cleaned for a long time, but here and there someone just wipes it a little and changes the bed linen and towels.

I had some small issue with the electric sockets near the bed, they were not working for my standard EU chargers, but there were still two that worked on the other side of the room and in the bathroom.
Extremely nice, accommodating staff and a comfy room. They also kept the key to the room so I could go to the beach on my own without a stress of potentially loosing it.
