Reception staff was friendly and exterior of the Hotel gives you chic '80s vibe .

This is your honest and realistic review! For a Hotel that charges £140+ p/day you expect better. When you enter in the car park you see an abandoned and very dirty Mini cooper typicall of dirtiness that you see in all city's in Sicily. Entrance of hotel is very old and tacky. Rooms are quite big but again , very old with a poor tv and remote is very sticky. Toilets are same old from 30yrs ago, not even the toilet seat was changed as you can see the brown marks on it. Due to old A/C I was coughing all night because it was full of dust and was forced to sleep with window open. Breakfast was soooo average and the Waiters where very grumpy, not even a simple Ciao. As it was very hot they weren't even providing water to the table and you as guest needed to go to a another side to grab water and to serve it in paper cups ..I mean if you provide hospitality and aspire to be a 4* hotel , at least have proper glasses and water at the table. Clearly, it's an old Management with very old mentality, which lacks in Hospitality. So I suggest better to avoid it .

The place is lovely as its full of trees . Room is spacious too. The garden area is lovely especially for breakfast

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Plus the pool area is small and not enough sun beds for the guests. When we arrived (earlier than check in time) they didnt want to let us in the pool area since we were early as they said pool area is full but it wasn’t full at all. It was extremely hot and nowhere to go in the vicinity. Also breakfast needs upgrade and when food and drinks finish they do not replace. They are very short staffed and we were also charged for drinks we didnt take but only realized after we left so we ended up paying them!

Beautiful building and grounds

Breakfast wasn't great, we weren't served tea or coffee once for the 3 days we were there. You need a car if you're staying here as nothing is in walking distance. Minimal water pressure in the shower so took a while to actually get clean. We weren't able to use the pool as there weren't any spaces unless you're really early.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel with amazing swimming pool and very friendly stuff. The breakfast was very tasty! This hotel is perfect to run away from busy life and allow yourself to recharge and be inspired again. Highly recommended.

A lovely old world hotel feel with modern facilities and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner were excellent served putdoors. Great pool and parking facility.

Very little not to like. The TV remote was a damaged. The provision of glasses in the room would have been nice for the minibar.

Amazing location with amazing swimming pool. Everything clean and nice. Nice and kind personel at the reception. Great breakfast and good food at the restaurant ad well (for lunch). Nice garden, you feel like in fairytale there.

One small thing: they don't have iron machine.

Staff was very helpful and always polite & friendly. The breakfast has everything you need to start your day, a lot of pastries together with a healthy mix of fruit, yoghurt, cereal and bread. The room was spacious and had all the amenities possible. Very clean too! The pool and the outdoor area were fantastic, especially when it gets dark. One should definitely eat dinner at the hotel at least once - very romantic.

For us, a missed opportunity was to make use of the huge garden. Some benches or some other attraction next to and to the side of the garden would've made the place much more enjoyable. But nonetheless - very positive! On another note, it would've been great if the staff could enforce their rules better against noise from certain rooms.

Personally I found the property to be very well kept and maintained. The pool was the perfect size and enough sun loungers for all the guests ! The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the building itself smells fresh ! I liked the older architecture on the outside it gives a brilliant charm to the building ! All the staff were very hospitable and friendly and always ready to help at any given opportunity !

The distance into central syracuse/Ortigia but this is really no problem at all and let’s you explore a little bit more than you normally would say you was centrally located.

Restaurant service is simply perfect. All the personnel is very kind, special thanks to Aicha, who is very attentive and always delivering a perfect service, making the dinner very enjoyable! Also to note, it is quite lovely to have breakfast outside with the beautiful view to the garden.

Beautiful property tucked away like an oasis behind the gates. The pool is a perfect size for relaxing and the restaurant food was delightful
