How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Verified reviewExcellent location, we stayed in a mobile home in the hotel garden, which was excellent. Close to the beach and various restaurants. A short walk to the center and also to Chioggia.
When we were there, they were doing construction work on our house, which was quite noisy. But that was probably a one-time thing. We stayed there for 9 nights and the price list states that if someone stays there for more than 7 nights, the towels are changed. No one changed anything for us.

The included breakfast was very minimal No AC at the moment of my stay, room was hot. Only alternative was to open balcony door and if raining, not a good alternative

We would like to clarify that the air conditioning was fully functional and could be turned on directly from the room. Furthermore, during your stay, only four rooms were occupied, so the breakfast buffet was intentionally reduced to avoid unnecessary waste — although it still included a selection of both sweet and savory items. We’re sorry that, under these unusual circumstances, the breakfast felt limited to you. In fact, breakfast is usually one of the most praised aspects of our hotel by our guests. Very early checkout at 9.30. If you're leaving on a long drive, you might not get enough sleep because you have to wake up early to prepare for checkout. In the kitchen some salt, sugar and oil might be useful The mobile homes are not sound proofed, so if you're a light sleeper you might be disturbed by the traffic and the parties around

The bathroom is very old considering the price per night. The bathroom cleaning should be improved. The price for 2 nights is very high considering the service offered.

Verified reviewWe stayed in a sea-view room on the third floor of Hotel Park. The hotel staff were very kind and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of food for all guests. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working optimally, but it was immediately addressed. The extremely nice maintenance technician coordinated with us to schedule the repair at a convenient time so we wouldn’t be disturbed. Overall, we found the hotel to be quite good, and the rooms were cleaned daily.
However, there were two aspects that we found a bit inconvenient. First, the large road that separates the hotel from the beach was quite noisy in the evening when we sat on the balcony. Second, the room size was rather small for our family of four. The children's beds were two pull-out beds stacked on top of each other, but they were not like a typical bunk bed. The lower bed had very little clearance from the upper bed, and the upper bed had no guard rail or safety barrier, so we decided to let one of our children sleep with us in the double bed instead.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was delicious and varied (continental and italian also ). The receptionist speaked fluently in english and was very Helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room was cool. The view was fantastic and it was next to the Beach. Free bicycles are available.
I recommend to avoid using the public transportation to get into Chioggia as they are not punctual. The free bicycles can be used.

This hotel is not 8.5, 7 maximum. Sheets are not fresh, shower is not working properly, no water in the rooms while it’s very hot outside. Breakfast is decent. They don’t change sheets every day. Parking is 8 euros per night. Initially I wanted to extend my stay, but once I got to room I changed my mind.
We are sorry to hear that your stay did not go well, the sheets are changed every 2 days (unless otherwise requested by the guest) while the towels are changed every day as in all hotels of this category, the paid parking (private) is clearly highlighted during the booking phase, I do not understand why you complain after having stayed, the room you chose is the economic room that lacks nothing but certainly the rooms that overlook the sea are more pleasant even if they cost a little more. We are sorry that you rated your stay with a 1, very far from the ratings of other guests, but we are aware that the holiday is subjective.

Verified reviewThis hotel is the closest to the beach in the area. They have bikes for free to reach the historical center otherwise 40 minutes of walking away. The staff was very kind.
Some more vegetables at the breakfast would be good.
