We arrrived earlier before the check in and they supported us in leaving the bags in one of the rooms, so we could change after the travel and go to the beach :)

La Giara is a lovely place with a comfy, welcoming atmosphere. The room was small and simple, but clean and had everything I needed for a brief stay. Breakfast on the roof terrace is marvellous, with a fantastic view. The location is very handy, not even 10 minutes walk from the port and just as easy for a hike round the vulcano.

The accommodations offered compact chambers, immaculately maintained. Thoughtfully designed for rest, they did not feature a table or chair. Guests were invited to proceed directly to their rooms, as an interior common area was not available for inclement weather. The morning repast presented a simple selection, while the coffee provided was of notable quality.

Location is ideal. Staff is very nice. Ice Cream shop and 2 supermarkets in walking distance. Authentic.

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect. Firstly, its location is great, it's just few minutes from the port, up to 10-15 minutes to the beach, there are 2 good supermarkets just a minute from there, right opposite to the accomodation is great gelateria and it is even on the way to the summit od the vulcano. Secondly, it looks absolutely beautiful and marvelous to the last detail. Rooms were really clean and beds were comfortable. And the whole staff was extremely nice and helpfull, they were at our service the whole time. We will stay here again for sure, if we come back. Thank you for the perfect experience.

At times a bit complicated communication with staff/manager? - maybe we were just there at a stressful time. Were not asked for cornetti preference unlike other guests, checking in/out required going through reception which was not always there. However, the staff did everything to accommodate us and were very friendly! Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place on Vulcano. Close to the trail up the Vulcano and not far from the Harbour/town center. Breakfast was freshly made - fresh cornetti and fruit - and served on the rooftop patio.

The owners were very friendly, responsive and supported us by all means. We took the breakfast and it was worth it! Very delicious and detailed. We asked them if we can keep our stuff and they didnt even doubt it. Everything was just perfect. I would highly recommend this place to everyone

La Giara is an extremely charming, comfortable and good value hotel. Location is excellent near the port with close access to both beaches, local food shops, restaurants and of course walks to the crater. The long Eolian style verandah has a stunning view of the vulcano and the sunny terrace has views of the sea. Owners and staff were very attentive and helped to make my stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was very ample with a range of offerings. I believe they also have self contained apartments nearby which would be suitable for longer stays. Vulcano itself offers a unique experience not found in other parts of Italy.

Our room was a bit noisy sometimes in the morning but this didn’t really bothered us as apart from this, La Giara is a perfect place!

This is a really friendly, exceptionally clean accomodation in a stylish and authentic Sicilian guest house. Location is excellent, only a couple of minutes from the port, shops, restaurants, beaches and the path to the crater is close as well. The owner, Manfredi is a perfect host! The terraces on the ground floor and the roof are great too! We really enjoyed our stay here! Highly recommended!

Great location, easy walk from the port on arrival, close to all the shops and restaurants. Manfredi is very nice and helpful host. The rooftop for breakfast is a pleasant spot in the morning. I liked the ceiling fan to get air circulation in my room. There was also air conditioning, but I just enjoyed the fan. Great gelato just across the road. A very nice stay, Grazie

La Giara is a beautiful calm place to enjoy the staying at vulcano . Is super well located, from the port is just a 10 min walk. The chamber was clean, comfortable and beautiful and Freddy was super polite and willing to give good advices for make your staying even more perfect. Highly recommended place :)
